Thank You Dr. Barnett, I am an old lady and I had a dream last night that I was on a elevator and there was a young girl with a demin hoodie on and the words I heard was, There has been a bunch of young ladies coming to me and then they were gone and the next thing I was on the elevator with 3 women we all had scharves on our heads hugging and I said Praise the Lord! and woke up and it was only 12:30 a.m. O yeah the elevator was going up! Many religions have certain holy books that are revered as true accounts, These are called scripture, these text are considered sacred and are either inspired or directly dictated by a deity, The adherents to these religions claim That their scriptures prove the existence of their God, The Bible and Quran are held up by their respective believers As both guides for belief and historical accounts of reality, These various believers claim that their holy book of Choice is uniquely perfect, while disregarding those other holy book as not divine, The people who hold up their own holy scripture as evidence are the same people who already believes its contents to be true, in doing so, it falls into the fallacy of begging the question ( which is a form of circular reasoning ), where an argument's question presupposes its answer, That this is true because I believe it, which doesn't counts as evidence. Just because something s written in a book does not necessarily or inevitably mean that it's true, The existence of scripture does not automatically prove anything about the veracity of what those scriptures contain, additionally, then these scriptures themselves are rife with contradictions and discrepancies, because they are books that were written by fallible humans, and though there may be some grains of historical truth within them, They is also ample hyperbole, speculation and mythology, Let's assume that Christianity can somehow prove ( with objective evidence everyone can agree is relevant and true ) that their scripture is true or that God has this desire to save, even on that presumption, There are unsolvable problems, because it fails to explain why believers in God disagree, They can't agree, on the content of God's messages, some believers might still say, God says this, God says that, They claimed to speak for God, how is their inner voice of God any more God's actual voice than when a Muslim or a Hindu, or a Mormon, or anyone else's ? claim that their God is speaking to them ? God is either sowing confusion ( Or allowing it to be sowed ), and the Christian God would never do that, maybe none of you are hearing God, but just your own inner voice, which you have mistaken for God's, ( and if all believers in God makes this mistake, so can you ), which the Christian God would never in good conscience allow, So, there can be no Christian God.
