That cutout is pretty slick. I get where people would call it "ugly", but anyone who is a "LIVING ROOM ROCKSTAR" that plays in a Classical position will LOVE that cutout.

I have a Charvel with a similarly angled cutout (i.e., facing up), albeit on the side of the guitar, and concealed from the front. I think your point is an excellent one. I know some also like that angle so they can put the cable through the strap, and therefore less likely to get it yanked out on stage.

You’re the best out there for VH solos! - could you do a lesson on the solo from Sucker in a 3 piece? It’s a deep cut but Ed absolutely rips on it. Thanks!
