JYPE is approaching the Global Trainees different. Instead of bringing foreigners (counting of Korean descent as Korean) they are producing locally/regionally: they already have Niziu (Japan). And coming up in 2023/24 are a Chinese boy group, a US/Canadian girl group and a LATAM group. So excited!

That's exactly why I am preparing myself to audition for jyp in the future :) Imo it's way better like this because they get to sing, dance and all the things that are related to kpop, but they don't have to change completely how they look and how they behave just to fit in the korean standarts and still be criticized lol

The part about how close they are and about how they trained together. In a Vlive BangChan said how he would train with Nayeon. So im guessing they did train girls and boys. It the Vlive he was pretty much saying how when STZ and TWICE were training they would speak in English and Nayeon would understand.

You’re doing a great job with these. And you have that one intangible quality that JYP artists have visually…their faces start to become more and more familiar and appealing as time goes on. I think this is probably the right company for you, but I know how astronomically difficult it will be to get in. But I bet you still have a shot just from how you are handling this channel.

I think this video is helpful for those who are very new to KPop. I think following JYPE for a year (literally October last year during TWICE's The Feels era), most of what mentioned here, I already know or have an idea. this video is more of personal opinion, mentioning some of the obvious stuff. with that being said, I really like the tone of the MC, and the way she delivers her message, like you are talking to a friend. it doesn't sound too serious but also not messy. keep up the good work! hope to watch more contents from you! ☺️

I’m encouraged! I have no affinity with Korea and my native language is not English, but I have slanted eyes and a beautiful face, with a little make-up I can look completely Korean and people always thought I was Korean or Japanese. I am preparing a program for about 6 months to improve my dancing, facial expressions and vocals while dancing, and after I am sure that I can do it, I will give my audition. After all of that if i become an idol i will never forget you.

yes, it's possible that there was strict diet before (at least 7 years ago), but since this is a new video, I was hoping there's also new information if JYPE still has strict diet but it appears there's not enough research that happened, just using the same old story of ice-eating, lol

@@LuvieIrene yes, just thinking maybe there's new info coming from ITZY or NMIXX. ITZY's Ryujin on her debut had chubby cheeks and NMIXX's Jiwoo is kind of thick. JYP (Jin-Young Park) himself decided to add a cafeteria using organic ingredients for food in JYPE building because he cares for his employees (staff, trainees, idols) and it's free (discounted for former employees). what I like about JYP (the owner) is that he is a father-figure. he explained why idols need to be lean and healthy (I think she mentioned it to Jihyo before). he did not force TWICE for a strict diet but he gave them reasons why they need to be healthy and the idols responded in their own will. at least for now, I think JYPE is the best company when it comes to handling their trainees'/idols' health.

Hiiii so i feel the same tbh but im rn 12 and 2 months and i also want to audition with jyp having open audition soon but i am not fluent in korean yet and i feel like my parents would also disapprove since if maybe i got accepted as a trainee and then i dont debut i would lose many years of school time and things but i feel that i personally if the auditions are open again my when im maybe 15-16 i will maybe audition and i think you should wait either since there is now groups with 15 year olds in them but thats just from my point of view Thanks for ur time^^

Well the diets are bad but technically if you go in a good enough weight and size and keep it up with exercise and healthy eating you might be able to avoid any extreme diets

@@maximumlee9400 no actually I managed to make it and send my audition from my Ipad haha, I don't know why but using my phone/laptop wasn't working. The files where the same but they just didn't want to work I guess hahaha! Thank you anyway for helping

Thank you for this video! But I have a question, is it normal that the site takes me to a "403 Forbidden" page when I try to audition. Even with different devices from different brands and after making sure I respected the files size, ect. I really want to send my audition and it doesn't work. Have you got any idea why ?

if you're auditioning for a kpop company, does it interfere with your chances of getting into the company if you use a song from the company for the audition? for example, if i were to audition for jyp, could i use a song from itzy?

Hi im from The Netherlands and im planning to do a auition for JYP im 12 years mine manners are pretty good and i can also make a really good sfeer but my dance isnt good good my friends say that im in the middel of vocals and rapping thats why they are both 50-50 i dont know if its a total fail if i audition now or if its just ebtter so if i succeed i will have a longer training time and end at a younger age im rlly lazy if its comes to dancing so please give me some tips (im learning korean)

I think you should focus on one talent and try to get it to be really good. like try mainly focusing on singing, or rapping, or dancing. also you’re very young and and if you do pass both auditions and become a trainee it would be very hard managing living in Korea by yourself at such a young age. I suggest you focus on improving your skills and really researching everything before you apply. also please talk to your parents about this before you apply!

I just gave my jyp monthly audition .. Man I've given atleast 2 times and this was my 3rd time on zoom audition... But u know I just sang 1:30 minutes song... And i stopped.. And she said can u sing a bit more... But i was being nervous and i forgot the lyrics further 🥺and she said it's ok thanku 😭😭😭. ..the song was the happiest girl by blackpink .. I'm so sad right now.. Why this nervousness comes and ruin my audition 😭😭😭

@@Byg113 the registration page is gonna open on 11oct 1pmkst ... So u can apply from ur country time.. And be fast cuz it closes very fast.. And thr audition is on 16 oct.. At the time u chosen in the registration form

Yeah but if your auditioning online. They'll take anyone regardless of age. I checked their website recent for online audition, it didn't have an age restriction.

Hey! Do you think I’d be able to audition as a half Asian (Japanese) half white (American) that looks more on the white side? I’ve been taking dance for awhile and I can sing decent (maybe?) I’m working on learning Korean but I’m not very good at it at all-dunno just wondering if I should bother auditioning?
