I was a Manager at HomeGoods for years and when my employees or customers broke something, I was always more concerned with their safety or injuries instead of the merchandise. It is so important to let kids no that we all have accidents sometimes and to give grace. Thanks for sharing.

Here’s a fun tip because I use it all the time with my DIY’s….I saw you cutting the skewer with scissors…DT carries dog nail clippers, the part that clips is round shape and totally perfect for cutting skewers and small wood dowels…they are perfectly sharp and work great! It was so fun watching Owen shop with you! 😊

Something I've noticed while bargain shopping is a lot of Wal-Mart floral picks and fake flowers are higher quality than DT and sometimes as little as 97 cents. They even go on clearance between seasons.

The strainers are helpful during the Autumn if you collect seeds from your garden! A few shakes over paper towels and the seeds can be saved without the stems or leaves!

Those sponge holders are perfect for your bath soap! It allows the water drip off so the soap doesn't get gooey soft,😛😛!! The suction cup is strong enough to hold even the large size bars! JimG

The sterelite crates also work great to organize a chest freezer! Everything was getting lost until I got them and it was a GameChanger.

I found a product at DT Brillo basic dish spray and it's wonderful! Only problem is after I figured out how great it is, I've been back twice and they're out or not stocked yet. It's way better than Dawn power wash! I hope they get it back soon.

I bought the reusable grocery bags to wash baby socks so they don't get eaten by my washer lol. They seem a lot sturdier than the mesh bags in the laundry section and there are more of them.

Forget pet hair - I need one of those rubber broom things (8:30) for MY hair. It gets in everything, and I have to trim the carpet beater on my vacuum cleaner fairly frequently, or else the strands get tangled and jam it up. Taking a pass through a room with the rubber broom before vacuuming might make it so I don't have to do that (or at least, not as often).

Rubber Brooms are AWESOME... we had this in the hair salon when I worked as a stylist. They actually get ALL the hair... a reg. Broom was so ineffective sweeping hair especially if wet. Rubber Broom was QUICK & EASY.

You can also use dish soap, and baking soda really cleans things well. And you can on those wind washing brushes you can put have vinegar and half dish soap really cleans the bathroom nicely.

the ghost idea is adorable. I like to use the broom handle with the floor attachment and a wipe as well as the L A's Totally Awesome window cleaner to clean the inside of my car's windshield. gets into the hard-to-reach spots very easily.

Can you do a video on how to do an afordable white and silver color themed winter wonderland wedding for an indoor ceremony/reception that looks expensive? It can include dollar tree & any other suggestions of where to get good quality items at an affordable price. For the winter theme, I like all white flowers such as baby's breath, hydrangeas, roses, or wisteria hanging flowers, etc anything wintery looking and if using fake flowers as realistic looking as possible while staying on a budget. I like flower walls for a backdrop with the neon lights and wedding arches with flowers. I also like candles that are extremely safe for a venue, or fake realistic looking, or ones floating in water perhaps. Candle vases with fairy lights look good too. I like bling as well but not tacky looking. I've seen people use mirror rounds for base of centerpiece too. A lot of indoor ceremony/reception venues don't allow nails, tape, or use of thumb tags to hang decorations and messy stuff like confetti or the use of bubbles due to damaging floor finish. Also need ideas for a diy photo both area aka wedding guest selfie area etc. Needs to not look too Christmasy but rather more on the wintery side. Any ideas/suggestions? I know I said a lot but you don't have to cover all of these things. I just though it would be safer saying too much rather than not enough. Anyways, I guess that's it for now. Hopefully you can make a video covering some of these topics. Thank you for doing what you do. Your videos are the best and help so many people think outside the box and save money. Thank you for all the helpful tips and tricks you provide. 😊

I've been buying organizing containers since I was a teen in the 80's. Yes, I was one of those kids that organized my own toys and always kept my closet in perfect order...NO joke. I've always loved organization. One thing I've noticed that has changed over time is that back then Rubbermaid was the top name in totes and things to buy to organize with. Sterlite was a Dollar General brand. Definitely considered the cheaper made option. They've come a long way over the years. I always enjoy your videos. Wallpaper and cardboard boxes were my main go to for organizing back then. My mom was the wallpaper queen, so there was always a ready supply for me to use, and the boxes were free as the cereal, jello, etc were emptied from them. I have pictures of my room from then. You can see my perfectly organized desk/dressing table with my wallpaper containers. I guess it's easy to say that organizing is my favorite household chore to do. I do not like to have to hunt to find things.

I am so glad I watched you again today! Not only did I find tips on what is new at Dollar Tree, but I was needing to find some sheer curtains for a project I am doing at our church this Christmas and did not know Dollar Tree carried them! Thanks for that tip and the many others!! Love to Owen!

I’m happy to say that my local DT is now a DT plus! 🙌🏻 I was living in Kingwood, TX and they have had DT+ for awhile. Just moved back to the Northeast and a couple weeks ago they changed to DT+.

It is actually very common to have things broken. I work at target and they always have things broken.. In all honesty, I even broken stuff at target. I literally broke 6 bottles of wine @.@ by accident.. it was a HUGE MESS! And it was during my shift @.@ so to answer your question, yes! It happens, we all make mistake! No need to feel embarrassed or worried.
