Hadiqa’s performance is so strong. She wanted freedom and love but all she got was a strict and controlling husband. On the other hand, Bilal abas is a left out child, his parents left him by enjoying their own life with their new spouses. He needed love too and all he got was hate. He was abandoned by his parents. Both characters needed love. In fact we all need love and care in our life.

Good writing. Hadiqa's performance was brilliant. She perfectly portrayed the lady about whome people are thinking that she is in shock but inside she is feeling liberated from relationship in which she was forced without her will at such a young age.

It's not haram to get married to an old or young man it's totally normal if both genders got understanding as it's not haram in Islam and if you see the west they follow this thing greater than us as muslims ,they don't care if female is young or old ,rich or poor ,dark or fair it's all about connecting with a soul you deserve

@@sadafmohsinabbasi8812 it's just the 1st episode.she says that he loved her and would have wanted her to be happy after his death.maybe he pretend that he loved her Infront of everyone and secretly abused her.maybe he genuinely loved her but Forced emotionally/mentally her to be/live a certain way where she didn't feel happy inside.she felt restricted/tamed and that's why she couldn't love him at all or love as much as everyone is expecting.by the looks of it(the flashbacks and fuppu),it looks like she was made to be/live a certain way which she didn't like and now that he is dead she's morning the death of her own childhood and identity and also feeling somewhat free

The extra-ordinary funeral proceedings part is so true !! I myself faced this in my family . l don't know why people don't prefer to donate in orphanages and do rest of the proceedings in the home by themselves . To be honest in these times people don't usually contrate on reading (Quran/paras) instead they contrate on gossips and all .

WOW..... It's heartbreaking how much stereotypes are associated with widows in our culture..... to this day many widows are forced to live a miserable life to prove their loyalty towards deceased husband otherwise they are stereotyped as disloyal wife...... also how much hypocrisy of us as muslims... when our Prophet PBUH married a widow who was twice of his age..... while we don't allow such marriages in our society and if someone dares to break norm has to face abuse and humiliation.

Good to see a different story ..its not just a story of a second marrige of an older women to a young man its about the story of a teenage girl who didnt fulfill her dreams and cant live her life on her own...very good plot...again hadiqa nailed it and noman ejaz always fits in every character so does bilal he actually look likes a looser and lofar..
