13 жыл бұрынMay 1, 2011 - Merlefest. Doc was feeling it during the early morning gospel set and stayed for one last tune. You can see the stage crew busy moving equipment around for the Alison Brown Quartet who got a late start b/c Doc was having a such a great time.

Jeez! He's 88-years young and still amazing!!!! I love him... BUT, I do have a decades long beef with his greatness… way back in the 80s after a show, Doc gave me one of his flatpicks… but when I got home the dang thing had forgotten ALL of Doc’s hot licks, it remembered NONE of them!!! Bummer!
