@@markfairbanks3533 that’s not really what happened. Andrew Carnegie and Andrew Mellon weren’t related, their businesses were not intertwined, and Andrew Carnegie had no role in Andrew Mellon’s posting as Treasury Secretary. Plus, Mellon was nearly as wealthy as Carnegie. This video is intended to be humor, not an accurate portrayal of history. Andrew Mellon founded the Mellon Institute of Industrial Research and Andrew Carnegie founded the Carnegie Institute of Technology, an unaffiliated university. The two merged in 1967.

For school days out we went to Carnegies birth place museum which is the house he was born in within dunfermline, there is a statue at the entrance of the Glen (outdoor park) of him. To answer your question a bit late, basically everything with that name slapped on it was named after him due to a large donation. I mean the money came from less than ethical business practices and his philosophy around business and money had some serious issues (both in practice and suggesting some serious character flaws), but he wasn't the worst of the robber barons and did legitimately give a _lot_ of money away and set up some good institutions that are still operating today. Not sure if I'd say the good outweighed the bad, but he did do a fair bit of good and (at least in my interpretation) probably sincerely believed in what he was doing (even if it's not entirely possible to seperate it from his self-interest), so a lot of stuff has his name.
