I'm from India, and I have fond memories of Uzbekistan. My parents took me to Uzbekistan for 2 weeks when I was a kid, because my father had some work there. We visited Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. It was extremely beautiful, especially the old historical monuments and cities. Uzbeks are a very modern and friendly people, and also maintain their old traditions. I hope to visit your country again some day.

@@zaynkhan8777 Yes, there are good honeymoon spots there. My favourite place was old Bukhara. Samarkhand was also very nice, and has good hotels.

Very complete wedding ceremony process. This is the first time i saw uzbek wedding ceremony. Very interesting. But i didnt see the process of akad nikah. As we are in indonesia, akad nikah comes first before long ceremony and party.

Just one correction: the religion of the Uzbek and all the Turkic nations in Central Asia before Islam was Shamanism NOT Zoroastrianism. They are still Turkic shamanic people of Yakutsk living in Siberia nowadays.

Turkic folk religion was based on Animism and similar to various other religious traditions of Siberia, Central Asia and Northeast Asia. Ancestor worship played an important part in Tengrism.

Soo... traditionally Central Asian brides wore white, even before it became "tradition" in the West about a century ago? Even though Indian and Pakistani brides wear very colorful wedding outfits? I wish the wedding couple well, yet I have a difficult time believing a westernized wedding represents the older traditions of Central Asia.

93% of Uzhbekhs are Muslims you dolt. Do a basic Google search. Non Muslims are a small minority. Different Muslims of various cultures celebrate their weddings differently. Basic beliefs are same but how they will apply it will differ. Dont judge.

It is ordinary wedding day in Uzbekistan. Rich ppl's weddings are completely diffirent, but I like ordibary wedding ceremony. Btw, they don't save up money for this day their all life 😂. Author you did give wrong informations. I am Russion but grew up in Uzbekistan. Actually they spend 5 or 6 months for preparation of wedding ceremony.

Bad traditions like in most Muslim countries that got conquered by nonmuslims. Not dressing Islamically. The bride did commit an act of shirk by making a sajdah to the fire. May Allah guide them and all of us.
