To be honest, I think he's more famous now than he's ever been. Don't get me wrong, I've been following Schenker since 1975 and is the reason I bought a guitar. The guy is phenomenal.

He's the reason I picked up the guitar at 10yrs old, that was 46yrs ago now. He's The Greatest got to see UFO WHEN I was 12 at the Chicago Amphitheater Thanks to my older brother who had all MS albums. He Made UFO Great nobody else can touch him, such melodic playing gives me goose bumps and a lump in my throat and my eyes get teary.

I believe it is a 2210 jcm800 50watt he uses those and DSL50s. I use to want a 100w so bad but the good tone is in the 20-50ws. I use Jet City 20s and a 50, Peavey Classic 30, Orange MT-20(Tone Machine), Laneys and 2 custom modded amps by me an Epi Valve Jr and a Crate V5. I use wah, phaser, double muff, delay on one line and ehx od glove, flanger, echo on the other. I love using multiamp rigs it makes your sound so much bigger.

Probably a 200 € Dean is pure shit for a person that uses to play a 800 or maybe more than 1000 € Gibson. And if we talk about low prices, Dean offers good quality at a good price, and Epiphone offers a guitar that is not bad, but it's very improvable.

i just dont think its right for the schenker f v (the gibson that is) to have its headstock changed and be called a dean just so that dean can sell a guitar that is considered gibson classic...i also have no doubt that expensive deans are very good indeed...but on low prices deans suck real bad (ml's, razorbacks, strats etc etc)
