Yeah, I've been critical on Mezco but mostly on the shipping times. A lot of the figures are great, especially soft goods wise. I hope Doc sells well so other figures can be made.

The tentacles are incorrectly placed. They should be on his sides - not his back. A terrible design oversight.

I think they looked at some of the different issues from Amazing and Peter Parker Spectacular Spiderman. It depends on the creative team. Some books had them on the side and others they look more on his backside like this cover. images.app.goo.gl/UkY7jTVaDGU93Nx69

@@MainOneCollector I'd say for that era that cover is rare mistake rather than an artistic choice. Even on the interiors of that book the tentacles are on the sides.
