Strange also used a spell called The Crimson Bands of Cittarak to try to stop Thanos and in that small moment, you can see that Thanos feared Strange.

these are supposedly retcon in infinity war, where the writers said that those are crimson bands of cyttorak* meaning these one in the first strange movie are not.

@@AceWerewolf I always just assumed that the mechanism used on Kaecilius was a bound object of Cyttorak's power. Like the Wand of Watoomb or the Staff of the Living Tribunal. I get that they retconned it, but I think it makes sense. Some kinky sorcerer imbuing restraints with Power...

Personal head cannon: strange was actually in that time loop for thousands of deaths and maybe several decades from his perspective, he was only bothering to "fight" because he wanted to try out all his spells , because I don't think he had a chance of wining physically , that's why he went from a complete armature to a reality warping demigod between this movie and infinity war, he had YEARS of intense combat training against a nigh-all-powerful being he time-handcuffed to himself while waiting until he caved, dormamu has existed since the dawn of time I think it would take a while to win through sheer willpower. The ancient one did Imply it would take "study and practice years of it" after all

Thanos definitely did rewind all of time when he used the time stone in Infinity War, remember how he destroyed the War Machine armor, he stuck Natasha underneath a bunch of rocks and he put Bruce Banner and the Hulkbuster armor inside of some rocks, all of this is undone after he uses the time stone

Well, actualy no. There're some ways to use or channel the time force from the eye of agamoto. If you watched, only the apple takes the "time modification", if not, mordo or wong could never see what was Strange doing.

Ok, this is not about Dr. Strange but it has the do with Endgame. What would have happened if both Clint and Natasha jumped over the cliff? Would they both have been rewarded with the Soul Stone and of course rewarded with life since it is the Soul Stone? Would be cool if this was the only way to get the Stone AND not have anyone die.
