Yeah, they spent too much time keeping her scary, when they should've focused on her warped sense on entitlement. In her mind, all she wants to do is hurt one person, an alternate version of herself, by by taking her place and taking her family. Because she's lost every thing, her brother,her lover, then all of her family again, she feels like she's owed a win, and won't stop. So Strange in her eyes should be a villain, the ultimate hypocrite sacrificing so many lives trying to stop her. Being the cause of the loss of her lover and entire family in her eyes. She should be constantly pointing out his hypocrisy at seeing the worst case scenario("She could enslave the entire multiverse") and keeping her from accomplishing her goal, when all she wants to do is travel to a different universe. No grander scheme beyond that. That should be funny. She should keep digging at him like that, make it seem like Strange is absolutely in the wrong in the grand calculus of the multiverse. Would've made the movie more nuanced at least.

Calling out he's doing this for a girl he met yesterday was good, but she really should've ground it in. "All I want to do is hurt one person, an alternate me, in order to get my family back. But you're willing to have all of these people die, have the halls of this sacred place run red with rivers of blood, because you don't want me to open a door and leave? All for some girl you met yesterday? What kind of sense does that make Strange? What kind of protector are you? Oh right, you can't protect anything. You didn't protect the time stone. You couldn't do your duty, and I had to kill my husband, then watch him die viciously, because you failed. I won't let you, nor anyone else, stand in my way again." Just an example, but this is just an example. And it should've been presented as a legitimate argument, instead of just something that makes it seem like she's gone off the deep end. Dr. Strange is sort of presented as the Arbiter of what the Greater Good is and what sacrifices are warranted or not, and Wanda should've been the one to call out his arrogance in that department. It would be like a continuation of No Way Home where Strange and Peter messed up the memory spell and brought danger from the multiverse, and while he was right that he should've just sent them back to prevent catastrophe, he could admit that Peter did ultimately do good and make a sacrifice in order to fix his mistake. It could've been the basis for Strange growing as a character, learning that his idea of the Grand Calculus of the Multiverse isn't quite the best understanding, and for him to re-evaluate his priorities.
