stephen mentioned in doctor strange 1 that he has a photographic memory so even though the darkhold was completely destroyed across the multiverse, he can still remember those spells which makes sense that he still ended up being corrupted with that third eye at the end of the movie

Absolutely ...I seen people knock the first movie but it's one of my favourite marvel movies the substance of it like imagine if we had multiple Dr strange origin stories like Spidey it would drive us mental. Both Benedicts need to remain.

Actually eye on head doesn't mean corruption. In comics it means sorcerer was powerful to open eye of mind and they called eyes of agamoto.

It wouldn't surprise me though if the heroes of the 838 universe (unaware of Wanda's actions at the end of MoM) wanting to avenge their loved ones potentially travel to the 616 universe potentially kickstarting a multiversal war.

I don’t think Wanda will be blamed. I think 616 will. I think the descendent of Reed Richards, Nathaniel aka Kang, will hear stories of his great great something grandfather being killed because of multiversal events and the heroes of 616 that jumped universes. And he will either want to tame the universes out of revenge or start pruning universes to find the one that caused so much destruction.

@@owlcircus6811 well, that can also work as a Kang variant that the he who remains variant met in Loki series. And even if he who remains is the same Kang variant whose ancestor was Reed of earth 838, the place where he who remains exists is outside of the multiverse. So it can work.

@@tyresewilliams7009 because mordo said he would do the same as dr strange would to protect their universe and the multiversr, in which i believe would be to not use the time stone, since strange only use it for last resort, and that it is known that the use of just the time stone is enough to hypothetically make the incursion happens so unless the stake was not high, theres no reason mordo would want to use the time stone

The Darkhold isn't the magic, its just a copy of inscriptions carved into the mountain temple, *for* the dark magic. Like the Infinity Stones, only a physical representation was destroyed, the power is still very much there. As shown by Strange's 3rd eye. Also someone mentioned that Strange has an eidetic/photographic memory. He so totally remembered that book by now.

One thing on Wanda’s side. This universe is well-aware of Earth 616 and the threats of multiple different versions of Dr. Strange. So theyre probably knowledgable enough to see “versions” from the multiverse as separate people, rather than the same.

I feel like The third eye isn’t a curse. He healed his inner trauma, literally battling his demons, became enlightened, and was able to access his third eye.

Darkhold leaves a mark on everyone who touches it. For some people it's a third eye and for others darkening of fingers (ex: Dr.Strange 838, Wanda)

Yeah, the end of Days of Future Past couldn't possibly have led to Logan. Logan is set in 2029, and it's stated that no mutants had been born in 25 years. But the "present" that Logan returns to in the end of Days of Future Past shows mutant teenagers thriving in Xavier's school. It's got to be a divergent timeline.

My feelings for Multiverse of Madness may be similar to Age of Ultron in the sense that those films had major payoffs later down the line with their respective sequels. Depending on how well Marvel Studios executes the next handful of major crossover events, Multiverse of Madness will be more respected due to results given in later phases of the MCU.

They might not be the most powerful characters in that universe, but the Avengers, the X-Men, the Inhumans, and the Fantastic Four all lost their leaders. And Captain Marvel died too. Mordo is still alive, but that universe also lost their Doctor Strange, and the Ancient One specifically said Doctor Strange was supposed to be the best sorcerer. So they are left without a lot of the key characters that are supposed to be the leaders of their respective realm.

I think reed Richard’s created ultron. Reed isn’t as good as tony or hank when it comes to engineering, which would make sense as how ultron bots gets destroyed rather than protecting everyone with immense power

To throw my two cents out there: What if the remaining heroes of 838 are informed of Wanda's possession by herself from an alternative universe, thus sparing further headaches for that world's Wanda. But due to what transpired and with the knowledge of alternate universe being known, heroes of Earth 838 travel to 616 to track down the Wanda responsible (Scarlet Witch). Thus stirring up more multiverse problems all the while on the flip side, we see that White Vision has reunited with Wanda after a possible journey to find and understand himself after having his memories unlike and what unaware of what transpired and Dr. Strange, who was there for everything, stands with Wanda but mostly for his universe sake because a battle between realities could play a major role in another possible incursion that would wipe out both respective worlds (maybe Kang has had his hands on the reigns behind these events).

This is a really good take. Considering how vigilant the Illuminati was to kill Dr. Strange because of his perception of a multiversal threat, I think it makes sense that. After the events of MoM, those remaining in the 838 universe would come for Wanda with that same energy. The "How" would be the question.

I think 838's heroes won't blame their wanda. I think they will know (maybe thanks to jean grey) that it was 616 wanda, and somehow mutants will cross first to 616 timeline, incursion ocurres and then maybe we can get a House of M event.

Could that seventh chair be for Namor, since he could fill a leader spot as King of the Atlanteans? His absence could be explained (from a screenwriter's pov) by the fact that it'd be kinda f*cked to put Namor on the big screen for the first time EVER only to kill him off in seven minutes. Another possibility could be Ajak as the leader of the Eternals and representative of the Celestials

Can someone explain to me how Wanda even had kids with Vision? Like he's just a sentient robot with no organic parts. I get that the 616 Wanda made them out of magic. So technically they were never "real", but the 838 Wanda had real flesh and blood kids how?

I'm pretty sure the planned scarlet witch solo film will definitely adapt the house of M storyline or they'll change the title to house of M.Also, it's kind of unfair to have the earth 838 universe introduce the rest of the heroes like the x men, FF,and the inhumans but not in the main 616 universe

Well, in that case, Xavier ain't dead either. He got disintegrated by Phoenix Jean Grey just to find his way to an unconscious body which he later teamed with Magneto and Logan before Days of Future Past happened. So it's safe to say that he is just taking a hiatus. XP

I don't think Days of Future Past was in the 838 universe... I'm pretty sure the Days of Future Past universe was the same one where Logan killed Xavier in the "Logan" movie. Also not sure that Strange's "third eye" is the Dark Hold. I think it just suggests that he has "powered up" like Sinister Strange did. I think it's supposed to be a the literal Eye of Agamotto, so that now he can use that power without the amulet.

There's chances of A House Of M event in 838 and the Mid creds of MoM suggests Secret Wars can be a thing with 616 at its centre. I was a bit disappointed with MoM but this movie has totally set up some great plots for future movies.

I highly doubt that 616 Wanda died, and I could totally see people going crazy in the theaters the day we here Wanda say "no more mutants" (well then, Captain Marvel's death was the only normal death out of the Illiumanti, because I thought Wanda just cracked Charlies' neck)

@@jonathanvilla7280 There is only one Scarlet witch, but there are many variants of Wanda, that's why the Scarlet Witch can possess Wanda variants. Like the Phoenix force, there is only one. The Scarlet witch is the Nexus being, not Wanda herself. All Wanda variants can possibly become the Scarlet witch, but only one at any given time.There isnt 2 Scarlet Witches in the film, its the main MCU Wanda, possessing 838's Wanda using the powers of the Scarlet witch and the Darkhold.

Same! I'm kinda wondering if we'll ever see him as wolverine again though. Hugh Jackman is getting older, and you have to be absolutely jacked to play that role. Prof X plays beautifully in his old age, but I'm worried that won't work quite as well with a basically immortal mutant.

I also wonder if when the two Wandas got overlapped after the destruction of the Darkhold, Scarlet Witch got mapped onto 838 Wanda and still exists in that universe. Maybe two incursions: the 3rd eye crossing over into 616 and Scarlet Witch still being in 838.

I think the empty chair belongs to Namor, and he's probably just underwater because he has his own kingdom to run. They did mention the underwater earthquakes in Endgame with no payoff.

It would be so cool if we got some movies in the 838, including a house of M. Then we get a secret wars vs 616, after 838 introduces the MCU mutants, that will end up crossing over once the secret wars ends and rewrites the MCU 616 timeline to have always included them within the MCU history

Dr Strange 3rd eye is not inherent evil. It shows he has obtained a higher level of consciousness in his training with eye of agamotto. This was in the comics (80s) I believe
