Awesome video! I have a question though…if I dont do this effect with the cylinder but only have let’s say 3d rendered torus that should go around my talent, how do I comp that in? Or another example, if I have a 3d object floating around my talent, how do I comp it so that it’s behind and in front of the talent in the right time?

@@exploring_thailand We will give it some consideration. Want to figure out a solution that doesn't rely on any 3rd party plugins. Even though saber is free. :) We do a new AE Live training stream every Wednesday at 8AM Arizona Time if you are interested in checking it out.

When I saw that part when Strange is fighting Spider-Man on the train I just don’t understand how anyone has the intelligence and skills sets to create visual effects like that. It’s my dream to be able to get there in editing I’m only just about intermediate on premiere pro lol

These rings take forever to render my god. Also what does the spinning timeline look like I’m having issues where the ring bounces back I take it from 0 degree to 359 back to 0 is there a way to make it continuously spin?

The rotation option should look something like 0x+0degrees... increase the number by the x. Basically that's how many times it will go 360-degrees.

@@thecircleclub_ I think Cinceom has a pack that could work, and so does Video Copilot that is reasonably affordable. Alternatively, if you can find some video footage of sparks on a dark background, you can just drop it in the comp and use the screen blending mode. I'm only a month into learning AE via "KZfaq University" so hopefully I'm not leading you wrong. ;)
