Thank you for sharing your expertise and experiences with skin of colour, and especially with the treatment of melasma. As a female of Chinese and Eastern European descent, it’s been eye opening to discover that although I have very pale skin from the Eastern European side, as I age, I’ve noticed that my skin responds and heals more and more as Chinese/skin of colour. Taking the route of handling my skin issues with the standard approaches and mind set designed for Caucasian skin and not finding results has been really eye opening. I am happy to have found your channel!

Great video Dr. V! I don’t understand why when I use alpha Arbutin and it’s the one from the ordinary my skin gets really dry. I was told to use this ingredient to get rid of melasma and hyper pigmentation but I don’t know why it’s doing this? If you have any insight on it I would appreciate it! Hugs from Canada!🇨🇦
