Yup. As I recall, she'd pretty much only done comedy stuff before this, so this gave her the opportunity to really show off her range, and HOLY COW is she good.

She had done theater, Miss Marple, Bleak House, London's Burning, and several episodes of The Bill, but, yeah, was known primarily for comedy. She's my favorite companion, as well.

She's really fantastic! (I'm a little further along in the series over on Patreon, so I've gotten to see more of her - she really is wonderful!)

@@FourthWallReactions I really do. The Doctor once said that he takes ppl to places because he gets pleasure from watching others see them. (or something to that effect) you have most of the same feelings towards situations as I did when I first watched it. My kids on the other hand like the show but don't get as much enjoyment which is kinda disappointing tbh. Anyways keep up the good work :)

It was a very slight one, but it will ruin a small moment that is yet to come in episode 4. I wrote a reply hoping that they will delete it. But I wasn't so authoritarian as to tell them to do so. People think they're so clever sometimes. . .and they think that they are being vague. And they only do this _to make sure _*_everybody_*_ knows that _*_they_*_ know._ And it can be terribly frustrating, because they know what *we all **_already_** know!* __ I tried to be understanding. I don't want to be too hard on them when I see these kinds of mistakes. I think perhaps much of the time it's just because the internet can be a very lonely place for some people. And they just want some recognition. I suppose it's just a little bit of _"Look at me."_ But I'm really only guessing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I like to think it's better to err on the side of compassion. Regardless of how frustrated I am.😏

Agreed, it's very unhealthy on how fixated we are, as a society, on weight loss. I think that 'health' is a good goal, but the obsession with weight and fad diets gets overly intense. It's actually the perfect concept for the Adipose 'plan', really, which is both very clever and also sad at the same time.

@@FourthWallReactions Yeah, weight loss takes precendence over actual health often, and that purely superficial look at "health" just doesn't make sense to me. And I agree that having villains (not the baby adipose, but the parents def. and Matron Foster as well) using that fixation is a good plan (good as in, it works, not morally good). I felt so sorry for the first victim of the adipose who died, she wasn't going out before, and now she finally felt confident enough to do so, Foster just kills her. :(

In fact Mrs. Travers had even bad mouthed the movie in the Sixties. That was the reason why Dick van Dyke never got an Oscar for his outstanding performance, even so he had been featured in the up front credits already. The Mary Poppins and Bert were more like the WESEN in the GRIMM TV series.

(I saw you on Geeked Out Nation's channel when he was being a little harsh on one of the episodes....he does that on a few shows!) Which is funny because I watch your Buffy reactions.
