Well since my Thirteenth, Fourteenth and Fifteenth Doctors each met someone who knew or understood regeneration (13 met Ace and her daughter), (14 met a member of UNIT) and (15 met a exiled Timelady), it's not like that for my incarnations, apart from Sixteen, who did have a companion with him but he also met a new person.

31:18-31:43 This is a great moment. It is a reboot of the original scene somehow delivering the idea that this is the first time it has happened but also holding the nostalgia and emotion of a lifetime yet to come again. The story is saying "this is the origin", but the music and the way the scene is shot says "hello old friend"

Absolutely brilliant work guys. I cast the show from my phone to the t.v. and my brother walked in and was really confused - "What is this? Is it a Doctor Who spin-off? There's the TARDIS, but, if that's the Doctor, what's going on?" Hahaha 😁 he was so confused, but that's a testament to how fantastic the quality of what you're delivering has become. He was genuinely confused and it took some explaining to convince him this is a fan film. You're creating something remarkable, and I hope you're all really proud of yourselves. I was on the edge of my seat throughout! I can't wait for the next episode. But, make sure you get plenty of rest too. This was perfection. I go so far as to say this is Doctor Who at its best - and I've been an Uber fan since I watched Doctor Who with Tom Baker at the helm when I was about 7, and now I'm approaching 50! Well done a thousand times over, 😀😀😀

Very nicely done. It's good to have the Red Doctor back again. There's improved filming, audio, CGI, costuming, sets and props as compared to the original. The modern versions of the characters are well acted. It’s the same story with changes to some of the details and the dialog. Overall, it's more modern in look and more contemporary in feel. I'm really looking forward to the next episode. But please keep the original series available to view. They have a charm and a passion to them and are a lot of fun to watch. New Red Doctor and Classic Red Doctor are like New Doctor Who and Classic Doctor Who. There are big improvements in the current production over the original, but I like watching Classic Red Doctor in the same way that I like watching Classic Who (even if the stories are the same).

absolutely brilliant work here, I loved how you really kept it faithful to the original but at the same time, you weren't scared to make it something new,. I have grown up loving your fanfilm series and have such fond memories of watching it for the first time so for it to be remastered and to be able to rediscover it is so exciting! :)

This is the first time I've watched any of your episodes, at first I was sceptical and honestly I though it a bit tacky, after being only a fan of the main series. But as the episode carried on I was drawn in and honestly you and your team have created something magical, you should all be proud. The hard work shows! Was waiting for a next time preview, guess I'll have to wait to watch more adventures!

Loved it when the Cybermen were menacing rather than the mindless, foot stomping ones in the new series. These 80s Cybermen are the best! Well done to all involved.

LudBud It was, that’s the whole point of series 1-4 being re released. Series 1 and 2 were re-recorded and series 3 and 4 were updated with better visuals.

It was amazing to see this episode remastered, i had such a nostalgia trip, but new and fresh enough to where i was pleasantly surprised to see what was new, some of the lines were iconic and the new twist on Mr Dickinson was awesome, the acting was amazing and i can’t wait to see more of the remastered episodes!

There is some clunky dialogue, which affects Chloe's performance somewhat, but this is fun nonetheless. Incredibly very little actually happens, it’s mostly the Doctor and Jess talking in a room with occasional shots of the bad guy talking to a cyber man, and yet I was hooked, which demonstrates the strength of the cast. Consider me a new fan.

Making a TARDIS is actually quite easy, especially if you have access to old electronic instrumentation and some other unrelated noise makers and cranks or winders. LOL.

@@SammySharknado Well, I am, of course, talking about the control room. The other rooms all look rooms you find in various residential, industrial and clothing store type buildings. Except of course, the core. Good luck with that one. The core of the TARDIS, where it gets its power from, contains a small star in some kind of containment field. Oh no! I just realized that I know far too much about a TARDIS. I ma officially a nerd. Excuse me, I have an appointment to go drown myself now....

I am impressed with the effort in terms of set, costuming, characterization, and the set up of an initial story. Gotta say, I LOVE the suit, recalls to mind the Pertwee set up (also props to the red velvet lined coat originally). Excellent choice of villain(s) too. Looking forward to more :)

Oh, but this is not old material remastered, this is a whole new, wonderful version of the origins of the Little Red Doctor, with the benefit of all you've learnt about storytelling, acting, sound design and visual effects etc over your many years as a filmmaker. Luke - congratulations to you and all the team on a splendid 'reboot' of the LRD's first series.

It's been quite a long time since I've seen 'The Little Red Doctor'. So much so I forgot he existed! Oops... Ten years will do that. Thank heavens that for once, the suggested KZfaq videos showed me something relevant to my viewing! I really enjoyed seeing that and looking at the comparison shots on the Instagram. I must say that watching this really made my week indeed, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it more than more recent 'Proper' Who. The production values remind me a little of the early Eccleston era mixed in a bit with the later 80s Who and it worked really well for the story. I am eagerly waiting for the next one. Question is, can I keep myself from watching the others on the channel as I don't want to ruin things for myself lol. Keep up the great work everyone and kudos!!! :)

Thank you, I was in the mood for a really good Doctor Who fan film and this was just what I needed. Very well done, and young man, you now have a new subscriber 😊. I'm also going to post this to my Facebook page, B Reel Production, as an inspiration of what we could do one day...(That being said I don't have a cast or crew, just a half written script and idea, but an idea is a very good place to start.)

Replace series 11 with this and Doctor who would be revived. I’ve been watching since season 1 first came out and I have to say, this channel has grown incredibly. Thank you for you hard work luke.

I began watching this series back with s3 - then really began watching s4 - so the remastering of old series is going to be really beneficial for me to really get to know these characters. So what are my first throughts about e1? Jess is a sarcastic-comic genius, Little Red is a combination of every Doctor in the modern series (which is amazing!), the directing was fantastic (well done both Luke and Meg), and the special effects are probably the best SFX I've seen on a non-commercialized YouTuve channel. So basically, what this essay is getting to is this: "FANTASTIC!"
