Aw, I am glad DW brought a bit of lightness to your day. My kids' dad was diagnosed with leukemia on our daughter's first Christmas Eve and died shortly after Christmas the following year. It's a rough thing to have to go through, especially in the holiday season. I wish you comfort and peace in the New Year. 💕

Sorry for the loss of your grandparent, really appreciate you making a reaction video, as I always do. I thought both Ncuti and Millie were awesome & have revitalized DW! This shows how important the casting of the companion is to the series, especially after the Chibnall era, whether to blame that on the casting or the writing, I’m not sure. The episode was fun but a little too fantasy oriented for me. I like how RTD is introducing new “tech”, like the gloves this time.

Christmas is never a great time to be going through family sadness. I’ve had experiences of end of life care and it’s always heartbreaking. Hope you and your family are doing ok.

Well, I was going to complain that I haven't got to see the new Doctor Who episodes... But, instead, let me send my thoughts to Lauren & her family.

I think the interviewer could be Ruby's mother if she's old enough. It would explain why she couldn't find any trace of Ruby's parents

Sorry for you. I lost my mother a few weeks ago. Dr Who is the only thing on TV I've watched since. I won't say I know how you feel, because I don't. I enjoyed the episode very much. Ncuti is great. The goblins were silly. I wanted more (or less) about them. I didn't particularly like how Ruby from the start has a secret or is mysterious. I'd have preferred her to be ordinary, and then get important as it goes on. Is it just me, or is Mrs Flood's front door pained TARDIS Blue?Maybe the props people just had some paint left over and it doesn't mean anything

I liked this show. I thought Jidie Whitaker's doctor was not good. I could not get into her .Ncuti's doctor I felt he.was the doctor and I liked Millie Gibson's character as Ruby Sunday and they worked well together. This show was an introduction to both the new doctor and Ruby and they will grow into a good relationship together .This was a lighthearted show because it was a Christmas show. I liked her foster mom and her foster grandmother. Goblins were okay but I thought they way the doctor destroy them was too easy I did like he went back in time to save Ruby as a baby from the goblins

Not really thrilled by the episode. I think whenever Doctor Who goes all fantasy, it loses something. Not giving up, or casting too many grim things at the moment, I just think every new incarnation of The Doctor needs some episodes to spread their wings so we can see all the feathers in action. Lauren, all my sympathies. Life is more delicate than we like to acknowledge and it's sort of now-you-see-it-now-just-memories. I try to take comfort in the belief that all things that people have said and done in our lives, lives on in each of us, and we decide what to pass onto the world through our own interactions with the world. We are carried on their actions, and hopes and love. And in our memories we carry them closest of all, for all of our own lives. Your folks and their folks made a Lauren McGlinty possible in our reality at the corner of Here and Now Street and I believe this LM person has been something good for the lives they've touched. Be well.
