Remember that the Master is warped. He may say things to the Doctor to screw with him/her mind. Either this is the case, or the Master, who is known to make monumental mistakes and misinterpretations, makes a false connection between the Timeless Child and the Doctor. This, I believe is the case, since the Doctor was unable to regenerate at the end of Matt Smith's Doctor's life without the help of the Timelords. The Timeless Child is someone else, who could be revealed at a later date. Maybe the person who could rebuild Gallifrey. Hey, Ballchinian! Are you listening?!

Tbh I dont think the war doctor ever actually used the moment. I think Day of the Doctor always happened and the 9th-11th doctors just didnt remember because they interfered with their own timeline. Rassilon bringing back Gallifrey in End of Time makes more sense if they were trapped in a pocket dimension and not in an unbreakable time lock, Rassilon just didnt realize it had happened both events occurred at the same time.

I think my problem with the Timeless Child is likely the same as everyone else’s. The fact that it’s the Doctor. The Time-Lords abuse an innocent child to build their civilisation and cover it up? Yes, I can deal with that. But, I’m just on the fence with it being the Doctor. If they explained it as, the Doctor is a reincarnation of the Timeless Child- like the Other from the novels- then they could get out of it, but we just don’t have all the answers yet.

6:24 I do like how you tried adding in the Timeless Child (adding being a more colorful word for shoehorned) But the Type 1 TARDIS was *SUPPOSEDLY* now thanks to Chris Chibnall's meddling, built long before the existence of the Timeless Child, since The Doctor's TARDIS told him that she was "Already a museum piece when you were young" and we were able to see that The Doctor's experimenting on by Tek continued into their adult years.

Just an idea, why not do a video on the differences between The Timelords and Gallifreyans (if I've spelt that right). How they decide who becomes Timelords? Do 'retired' Timelords move back outside the citadel? etc. Just a suggestion if you haven't already done it and I haven't come across it.

In the 70's when 'The Deadly Assassin' came out, there was a backlash from the fan base that hated that depiction of the Time Lords as it clashed with their depiction in 'The War Games' and 'Terror of the Autons'.they wanted more ambiguous origins, now lets imagine those Time Lords as the real ones and the Gallifrey depicted since, as a phony Earth colony that tapped into their power and stole a chunk of the Doctor's life.

I am still not a big fan of the "Timeless Child" twist since I feel it retcons too much of the series' continuity and the Doctor as a character. If they had just gone the route of The Doctor lived an entire regeneration cycle that they chose to forget about (like how Capaldi forgot Clara) I think that would have worked fine, but I feel the route they went goes against too much of the established Time Lord lore/history of Gallifrey. Plus, before this twist The Doctor was just an average Time Lord who was interested in Earth/loved exploring the universe while the rest of the Time Lords looked down on other forms of life and chose to isolate themselves, but if Time Lord society as we know it only exists because of The Timeless Child then The Doctor would have been more respected and been aware of their significance. So, I blame this idea solely on Chibnall since I feel this twist wouldn't have worked regardless of who was The Doctor, but I do like Whitaker as The Doctor.

No mention of the Time Lords great war against thier mortal enemies, vampires? For shame ....... for shame .... Honestly, I really hate the Time War. It feels cheap that the Time Lords are gone (for the most part) but the Darleks pop up every season. The Doctor's interaction with his own people were some of the best episodes of the original run. The Time War feels like a cop out. Or, at least killing all the Time Lords off feels cheap and a waste of story potential. Plus I miss great Time Lords (or is it Time Ladies? I don't know) as Ramona. She was sharp and quick witted. Truly an equal for the Doctor in terms of traveling companions. She was by far my favorite and it saddens me that she won't get a chance to come back.

Never really understood why the Doctor in the modern series was so devastated the timelords were destroyed to be honest, in the classic series they caused him nothing but trouble and always treated him like garbage despite the dozens of times he saved them from destruction

Imagine they made a Dr who spinoff show that was a prequel political drama set after Rassilon’s death where members of the high council have to figure out what to do during this power vacuum period. Morbius could be the main villain, some of the more obscure and older time lords could be brought back into the mix, and we could possibly explore timelord culture further. Hell maybe they give a clearer explanation as to how the timeless child became the doctor.

Imo the doctor isn’t the timeless child (I know many think that but still). We’ve seen that the time lords (atleast the matrix) can alter memories so maybe the doctor was a normal gallifrean child but had some of the memories of the timeless child implanted in them and the real timeless child might’ve been hidden with the chameleon arch which could explain their existence even before the last great time war.

WHAT I IMAGINE COULD EXIST IN A DIFFERENT REALM & MIGHT BE GOOD TO INTRODUCE SOMEDAY: I imagine in a parallel dimension, on the alternate planet:GALLIFREY, before the war started (The Doctor) decided to go check out an unexplored solar-system, and I imagine it is there he discovered 7 planets. But there was one planet out of the seven planets that (The Doctor) got very curious about, and he discovered great things on it. I imagine do to these discoveries he decided that this would be a great sanctuary world for survivors of different types of wars, and that includes (The Time War). The reason why is because there is some type of mysterious minerals, and it unexplainably creates force fields around the entire planet. Plus by his astonishment it also is capable of creating a very special type of natural force-field that protects this planet from dangerous time fractures of any type. Now once (The Time War) did start I imagine that (The Doctor) sent a message to his future self, for him to travel back in time to the planet:GALLIFREY, gave himself introductions on what he needs to do, and reveal to him the secret discovery he made a long time ago. I also imagine that once the future form of (The Doctor) had gotten the message, along with the secret information, he then traveled back in time, picked up the kids, and their parents, along with some of the kids’s guardians, and then traveled all the way to the secret location where the mysterious planet is at. I imagine then (The Doctor) checked, and double checked to see if he was followed through time, and once he was sure everything was safe, he then revealed to all the kids, their parents, along with the guardians of some of the kids why are they on this planet. In addition to who he is, what is going on back on the planet:GALLIFREY, and how he knows about where to find this planet even though he had mentioned this version of himself has never been here before. I imagine once (The Doctor) reveals everything to those he had saved, they then asked why they are here, he says this is your new home world, and in time you are going to make a great new type of civilization here, that I hope is slightly different from the previous one. To add I have allot of hope that you all, along with your descendants will also help beings the same way as I helped save you someday, and allow them to live on this world with you if they are not able to return to their own home world. Then everyone asks what should we called this new home world of ours, and I imagine (The Doctor) responds saying how about either GALLIFREY2, or you could name this planet SANCTUARY. After that I imagine that (The Doctor) says his goodbyes to everyone, and says you all won’t be seeing me again, but maybe just maybe someday I might come across this planet again, decide to visit it, and I might meet your descendants on one of my travels. “So in conclusion if the show series of (DOCTOR WHO) gets rebooted again someday; I think it would be good to introduce this what if scenario in two episodes of the beginning of the show series.” “The reason why is because I have a strong feeling it might be great, to have my imagined situations idea be shown, in the show series of Part#1, and Part#2 in each of episodes 11 & 12 of the First Season.” “See I imagine this way you start out showing (The Doctor) when he is an old man, before his first regeneration, and then later show his future 2nd. body form when the First Season is coming close to an end.” “Now I imagine that the 2nd. form of (The Doctor) hasn’t gotten any new companions yet, since he had said goodbye to his previous ones, and I imagine then all of a sudden he gets a message from his past self.” “And then he takes off after reading some of the message, then hearing some important details, and later he sees the face of his past self in one part of the message.”

Gallifreyans have a natural lifespan of thousands of years, much longer than most lifeforms, yet even they were subject to the ever-consuming whims of time. While their greatest fear may have been thought to be the ability to travel through time, that is nothing compared to cellular immortality. No matter how many times you change history, new threats will always emerge. Why bother changing time when you can sit and watch as your enemies crumble to dust while you remain whole and unchanged, only acting when necessary? The timelords saw the importance of this achievement, and the ruling class hoped to develop a way to achieve true freedom from the clutches of time. They set out to find the perfect hosts for these experiments. Eventually, they found three children of Gallifrey, childhood friends who happened to have the ideal set of personality traits and genetic makeup for their experiments. Upon learning this, the Doctor, with the help of The Master and The Rani, escaped the facility where they were being held. Now, on the run, the Doctor stole a Tardis set to be vaporized and began traveling throughout the cosmos, searching for adventures and wonders he had always dreamed of while in captivity. With The Doctor gone, the timelords would have to make do with their research. They would only be able to code 13 regeneration cycles into a timelord body before they would have spent all their life force and eventually die.
