In a personal and pivotal episode of the Ed Mylett Show, I’m sharing something that’s reshaping my journey a bit ….something that does not come as a surprise for those who know me or follow closely here.
Its time for a bit of a pause for me from my crazy workload.
Actually, its just a season where my health is going to be my priority, not this darn phone and all the demands that come with it!
So I'm taking a step back from social media for now and I will do less speaking and crazy travel. Still being focused strategically on biz and mentoring/coaching ..but cutting out the unnecessary and taking time for health, particularly heart health.
This decision didn’t come lightly. It’s part of a broader challenge I’ve embraced under the guidance of my doctors - two remarkable women who have cared for me for many years and literally keep me going ! Dr. Amy Doneen and Dr. Gabrielle Lyon.

Glad you are taking steps to address your health, Ed. 3 years ago... * I weighed 247 soggy pounds * Stopped breathing 6x an hour nightly * Was draining a bottle of rum weekly * Had a daily 5-Hour Energy habit * Was broke (and felt broken) May 4, 2021 was the last day a drop of alcohol entered my body. Started walking daily, which soon expanded to included stretching, core workouts, resistance bands, dumbbells, battle ropes and a Peloton cycle. Kicked the energy drink habit (Nov 2023). Current weight: 219 pounds, with a goal of 198. (being the Visualization/Vision Board Guy, I have 2 signs over my workout area: #198 and STRETCH YOURSELF) One of my workout mantras: Lookin' great. Feeling great. Losing weight!

Aw Ed I can see the difference in you today. Sending you love, healing and energy. Remember in an emergency on an aeroplane you have to give yourself the oxygen mask. You have to take care of yourself first. Then you can help others. I love the wisdom that you share. Grateful for you 💛

Thank you Ed. Such an amazing pod cast. I found out I have severe sleep apnea about 4 years ago. With my cpap machine, it has changed my life to help me in so many ways, such as lose weight, have energy, enhances my mood, and focus at work. Health is #1.

I turn 48 this March 22. Just seen my Cardiologist last week. Did an, EKG, Lipid Test, Echocardiogram. My resting heartbeat was confirmed at 36 beats a minute. Took the RN 13.5 minutes to get a read on my heart rate on the stress test, on the treadmill. ♥️💪

Yes exactly! It can be the emotions which you store from life experiences. What you focus on you’ll attract spirit soul and body - what you believe you will create and many of these beliefs can be believed out of conscious awareness. I agree to do both and address every area of life!

AMEN! 🙏Listen to yourself Ed take as much time as you need. Meditate, do some yoga, listen to Guru Dev, heal your body, and do all the things you know you have to do. We have plenty of your content to go back to, and when you take this time you will only come back with better and stronger realizations for all of us to benefit from. Great Apisode! I also have a genetic issue. I have a low protein s defect which makes me prone to clotting got my second clot after coming off blood thinner for two months. So i'm back on Xerelto for life.

I am curious to know how to get a full body test as a reference point for where I am at health wise. I am in Australia. I am on the wrong side of 50. I feel well. To date, all my blood tests are normal & in range.

Where can I find a list of these things written out we should test for? Some of the names are so technical and if I'm going to ask my doctor to test me for them I want to make sure I ask for the right thing lol
