Okay but let's be real guys - if the rope was starting to fray you'd try to get back on the bridge, right? No, this guy just keeps on painting. Like where is your self-preservation, dude?!

I think the point of the show is that it's both a medical drama and a sci-fi show. We all know tech like that doesn't exist yet but that's what makes it fun
@Jejking
@Jejking Жыл бұрын
@@sjfrench8034 The tech looks pretty fun indeed. The display of how medicine and the body works is just awful. What did they warm him up with f.e., a terrace heater? If he had internal bleeding, wouldn't he have a distented belly from the blood building up? The conversations? Dayum haha, so much is wrong here.

Do you guys remember that house md episode where they kill their patient and bring him back? And do you remember the part where House laughs maniacally when they say that they will "cure death"? I heard his laugh when they were talking about killing him and bringing him back in this episode.

I've heard how people temporarily stops one's heart to fake their death or makes them to experience death in order to save them only to have their heart jumpstarted after they are clear off danger.

Not always. My friend was 9 months pregnant 3 days before her induction date she was in a very serious car accident. Baby unfortunately didn't make it and my friend lost oxygen to get brain for 20 mins. She was pronounced dead 3 different times on the operating table. She ended up surviving and now 10 years later has four babies and she is living her best life.

Magic is just science we do not yet understand. If there is one thing this show makes incredibly clear, its the fact that this is stuff that may be possible in the future. While it feels like fantasy, there may be studies being done to try and make this work in the real world. And, one day, it likely will be possible. Science will never stop progressing, for as long as people are willing to imagine possibilities and strive to make them a reality.
@justcallmejessz3712
@justcallmejessz3712 Жыл бұрын
@@iamaylacat3935 indeed. The tracking bit of this9 episode is closer then one may think. We already have external devices that can do alot shown. HR and Oxygen levels are monitored on smart watches for awhile now. Now BP and temp can be done the same. Glucose monitoring pods check glucose levels continuously adjusting your insulin pump to correct any imbalances. Even sending you (and others if chosen) a message if it is bad. Life alert devices can autocall a caregiver if the wearer has a fall. These are all currently being used. There is room to improve accuracy in the BP, temp, O2 but the glucose meters are incredibly accurate. As someone who has dealt with chronic illness and literally depend on medical intervention to live I've seen some amazing things in medicine in last 6 or 7 years. Science really is magic.

Not just gadgets. Medicine as well. I don't have cystic fibrosis but a few years back I witnessed (through others) what I can only call a miracle with a drug called Trikafta. It has literally given life to SO many people who were very very ill. There are two incredible young ladies who have shared their life on YT that also have CF. Stephie Lee is one. The other is Mary (The Frye Life). Just before starting the new medication Mary was starting the process of lung transplant preparation. Now. She and her husband have an adorable little boy who will grow up with his Mama for a long time. It's really incredible.
