Yes defiantly my friend 🙂 Document Control practices can be transferred from company to company regardless if one is in project management, construction or insurance. We don't need to understand the technicalities of the documents. We are there to control, quality check and safe guard the documents. The most important thing about being a document controller is to cover yourself. Don't update someone else's document or don't let anyone ask you to make changes to their documents on their behalf.
