Wreath-laying ceremony of four Army personnel killed in encounter with terrorists in Doda was held in Jammu on July 16. Lieutenant Governor of J&K, Manoj Sinha along with army officials paid tribute to bravehearts. Four Indian Army soldiers, including an officer, were killed in an encounter with terrorists in Desa Forest area, Doda. Soldiers killed in action were Captain Brijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra and Sepoy Ajay.

This is really insensitive of you to say. Of course, this is a great loss to the family. But each soldier earns and deserves the respect. I don't think people will appreciate burying the dead body of a soldier without any respect. This is not politics but respect for our fallen soldiers. India has the largest number of soldiers who join the military voluntarily. No one is forcing anyone. it's unfortunate if you see joining the military is to get a fat salary and benefits but not sacrificing your life when the country needs it. I have had several family members who served in the Indian military and Air Force and I have seen their emotions and love for the country. 🙏
