This is so gd brutal for 1989. It sounds and feels 10 years ahead of its time, even the recording quality is excellent. Its really thrashy, death-ish metal just the way I like it!

Like them or not, Deicide already had a distinct sound and were very different than anyone else at the time. I love this.

Hell yeah - I remember listening to the debut round a friend's house just after it came out and thinking "Fucking hell..." it really felt like the next step post-Slayer in extremity.

Dude I like this demo waaaaaaay more then the remastered one on roadrunner. This version sounds clearer and way more brutal.

Yeah the Roadrunner one was roundly slammed when it was released since the sound sucked. Those who owned the original demo could attest to this.

None can deny the brothers’ sheer fucking death metal dominance. Hoffmans’ era Deicide, along with Lord Benton himself, produced the absolute most fantastic, blisteringly unholy music to ever be produced.

I love both, the sound of this demo is more raw which I like, but the sound of the album with Scott Burns is fire too, also it has more songs

Brings back such good memories. Some dude was passing out acid to everyone in the building and this show had the most intense moshpit imaginable. Everyone was connected by blood, literally connected. Long live Joes Garage!

The riffs are so raw and clear in this demo, 03:47 you can hear the actual intended riff, in the debut album many frequencies are cut in a level the riffs sound different. Killer stuff, lately I started disliking the morrisound final recordings.

Eric and Brian came out with a new band using the Amon name after they left Deicide. Took them almost a decade to put out one album and they haven't done anything since. Other than 2 shows in florida.
