Thanks for posting this. I have a 2006 Dodge Magnum and this video is the closest to my car I could find. The dash looks pretty similar so now I know what I'm doing. HOPEFULLY!

Almost wrecked my antenna wire trying to take the metal out of the plastic, but thanks to this video, took them out together instead. Thanks!

We are in the 2023. Is possible to repair the original 2005 dakota similar radio? The cd player is acting now. It does not release the cd sometimes

A 2" stubby works just fine in place of the angle driver. Everything else is just right. The only problem is that once you get the stereo out you cant gain access to the CD area. I just put it all back together. Thanks.

there is plenty of room to just use a 1/4 ratchet and socket no need for a angle screwdriver

A ratchet will work, but that screwdriver would be easier. Where do I buy one?

This is helpful, I have to replace the lights behind my temperature controls, but I was not sure how to get the plate off. I will figure out how to replace the lights from there, but again, this was helpful.

Is the blank socket on the left, back side of the radio for connecting a Sirius XM radio adapter? My '06 Dodge Dakota has Sirius XM and a 6 cd changer. The cd changer doesn't work, so I would like to replace the radio, but not sure about the Sirius XM connection.

Yes you would just plug everything back in and screw them together
