Charger Scats are going for $4,000 below MSRP at my local dealer and another $2,000 off in incentives. I don't think that's enough, but they had 6 of them earlier this year and now they've only got 4.

Went to look at a black RT today. I asked and it had been on the lot since 1-11-23. It definitely was experiencing lot rot. Looked like it had not been washed the entire time. Bird poop on the car so old it was decaying and partially off the car from rain over time. A sticker on the wind shield that was faded and weathered that had a bar code on it. It looked like an older used car but the car had 60 miles on it. So, basically, that car has been sitting there in the elements rotting for more than a year and not being driven. The discounts are just not enough to buy a car like that.

I'm team Ford/Lincoln all the way but I've definitely been steering people in the direction of Dodge because the inventory in my area is getting real slim. Things have certainly changed in the last 7 months as far as prices are concerned.

It's a ball and cup game guys. Pay attention. A month ago, dealers were given the heads up to place these cars in the loaner program. Our local dealer moved a ton of them into the program to qualify them for these discounts. By offering them as loaner cars, they get tax deductions and other financial benefits. Even though many were never loaned out, but set to the back of the lot to make it appear that way. Stellantis isn't helping the dealers other than coaching them on how to bend rules and make more money. Loaner cars qualify as a business expense etc. The local dealer is shaving money off these cars and stopping the bleeding any way they can. Rest assured, most of these "loaner cars " have never been loaned out.

IF dealers want to move these vehicles, Scats, even the widebody should not be any higher than 55k. RTs should be no higher than 42k. Cats no higher than 76k, and redeyes/superstock no higher than 88k. And that's me being generous and factoring in inflation.

Those are reasonable numbers in my opinion, but the big problem is that there will be no more Scats, Cats and RT's. These dealerships want to make that one last major profit before those bad boys are gone for good.

My local Berman's Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM dealership in Oak Lawn Illinois just sold a 2023 Dodge Challenger 392 Scatpack Widebody Swinger Special Edition and a 2023 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat.

They're going to get what they can for them. They know mfs dont want EV. They might sweetin the deal to move them somewhat, but i dont see them ever dropping to their original prices. went to check out a widebody scat that’s been sitting for 120+ days. it was advertised as being $12k under MSRP. when i went in person, they told me the advertised price was wrong and that it was $2k more. then they tried to offer me $6k less the average trade-in value for my current car. so basically they tried to bait and switch then offer less on my trade-in to make up for their “discount”. dodge dealers are a joke lol

Great video I like mopars but the dodge dealers were the worst about trying to run the price up on there cars especially on the cars true car enthusiasts wanted it turned a lot of people away they just priced there cars out of range for a lot of people I hope those dealers get stuck with all the cars

I would but I just got my 2014 Black Top Edition R/T the leather black seats in 2021 can't let that all black whip go I love mine too much well not being able to enjoy it because of a battery draw so just got tired of it the 3rd time and parked it in the garage about 11 months ago barely got it back from shop went to puck it up after sitting for 5 days there it didn't start to so they did other things that were necessary for sitting that long but I seriously think it's the alternator still not giving up on that car

it has a lot to do with which sales region of the country you are in. Different regions have different amounts and qualifications.

Lol that is so funny . Those Hellcats and Scatpacks are going to sit on the lots so long they will be called lot rot cars and two thousand dollars off is peanuts. They need to start talking 10 thousand off or better and no tax. Bottom line cars that sit so long will need tires and fluids changed thats the dealers next big problem..

They charge 200 for wheel locks, they are only $25 bucks!!!! Crazy dealerships!!! I paid 45k cash for my 2021 scat wide body... id but another if they came down to that again.
