@@gsjourney3054 I was looking at one, the 2019s and 2020s are having recurring AC problems, not being able to generate enough cooling in hot weather. I test drove one in 100* weather for 45 minutes, AC on max (after idling for 30 minutes), and it was still hot inside. Dodge not admitting there's an issue, no solution. If not for that, I would have bought one in a second.

Got the ram with air suspension on my drive way. It’s lovely to drive and with a cut-out exhaust the V8 sounds amazing .

@@Koenigjay yeah air suspension on Lincoln Ford's and GM is awful I can't imagine FCA with air suspension. I give it 5 years before it turns to a nightmare. My navigator I absolutely loved until it got to about 70k miles. Front end sag one day. Fixed it. 2 weeks later towed something and the rear end sagged. Fixed it. Next morning I go outside the whole things on the floor. I litterally changes all the bags relays and compressor. It didn't want to work. I said fuck this and switched it to coils and called it a day.

Ram was the first to have air suspension pickup. It’s a proven system. They are not trying to keep up with the trends because they invented that trend. They have had air suspension option for 8 years now. Also the first with the 5 link rear end and coil springs in the rear for 8 years now also

Cal Mills no dodge and Chevy are literally tied for worst truck sales this year the f150 blows them both out of the water. That’s not good either GM is failing sadly and being from Michigan it’s very sad to see Detroit automakers lose so badly over trying to cut costs. Why do you think jeep grand Cherokee’s 2 years old are almost half off the original price. Peugeot probably has quality control but my man I’m telling you knowing dodge isn’t even American anymore is sad. I wasn’t saying anything bad it’s just Detroit companies are at a real low bottom and people look at this like wow great truck! But don’t look at what actually make a truck a truck being able to go 300k without worry

We always have this exact vehicle as a rental when in Florida. I love the duality more, but the rentals don’t have them lol. Laramie was lush. Last June we had a brand new Rebel variant. Love them.

Great review! I'm a American and have always wanted to see how someone from Europe would look at our trucks! The Laramie package has 2 more trims levels above it. You would absolutely be blown away by the Limited trim. Keep making awesome videos! Your one of my favorite car reviewers and most of the cars you review we dont get here in the states!

@@Koenigjay Ram with cummings engine are known to last for hundreds od thousands of miles. There is a video on youtube about a Ram with the cummings hitting 1 million Kms. I come from Italy and know about an entrepreneur who has a cummings diesel and although its speed is limited to 160 km/h (around 100 miles an hour) he would buy it again

Man, I gotta get one of these! I don't ever have a need for a truck or tow anything, except when I have to go to the Home Depot to get mulch maybe once a year, but seeing as I have ED, something like this would be just the cure! Plus that interior is so nice, I don't have to get the basic work model (because I'm obviously not going to be using this for work, that's silly!), to have a huge truck to look like a BIG MAN in.

113 the Ram is a lot better than it used to be a few years back but it’s still below Ford and GM in reliability That being said, it will definitely last more than 2 years lol And I have to commend Dodge (Ram) or Fiat, whoever it was, to make what was way in 3rd place Ram into one that is better than GM and selling more than Chevy and GMC (combined GM still sells more, but they are losing sales) It’s a real 2nd place sales truck, and one that I feel earned that spot. While I don’t know that I’d pick one over a Ford, it’s the first time since the mid 90s that I’ve been tempted lol And that coming from me is a HUGE compliment to the Ram

It's a awesome luxurious truck!! However, these days, whenever I buy a car/truck/van I ask my self, " will it last me 200+ thousand miles without having to put another engine or transmission in it. But with proper maintenance all cars or trucks should reach 200 thousand Miles with no problem in my opinion. The trucks they are are making now, no matter what brand, are all so well thought out. I love the new nissan titan though. It's got a reliable 5.6 liter V8 with an amazing V8 rumble!!

Carson Nelder - please go buy a RAM since you’re such a big brain individual, Fiat-Chrysler vehicles are garbage. Honda is also inferior to Hyundai/Genesis/Kia and Toyota/Lexus, but Hyundai/Genesis/Kia is a much better value and you get more technology with a better warranty, fuck FCA, Toyota, and Lexus.

I moved to Canada from the UK in 2015, never looked back. I bought the 2019 laramie. The beauty of the big spacious trucks, big v8s, big houses and massive roads surrounded by unobstructed view, you can't beat it. Few things to clarify, laramie isn't the highest trim. It's one of the highest, there's longhorn and limited above. Also, it isn't Dodge Ram anymore. It's just Ram. FCA treats rams as separate brand now. Cheers.

As a Brit in Palm Springs California, I agree that the big trucks are in a league of their own for power and luxury. RV travel has brought them upscale and that's the real benefit of the giants

@@Koenigjay I think he's alluding to the fact that it's naturally aspirated and not a downside turbo engine. The Ford turbo sixes have great power, but they don't sound as good as a V8.

Own the Same truck in2020 in Blackout Love it only 1800 miles so far. Also a 2015 Ram 1500 67000 miles never a problem.

Aside from import taxes, everywhere else has higher fuel prices so just running would be the same price as a small car/year
