Definitely one that I wouldn’t mind addding to the collection, my roomate currently has a 2012 Dodge Charger Superbee and a 2018 WB Hellcat , a SRT-10 Truck would almost complete the collection, needing only the SRT-6 that was an option for some Chrysler Crossfires and a Viper!!!

I live in Europe, and I also generally don’t like trucks and SUVs at all. But this thing I love ever since I knew it existed. Too bad there is probably zero examples of these where I live, so I am not likely to ever try or even see it. Thanks for the video!

Good video! The wing was needed for the world record holding top speed which was actually set on an oval track by a NASCAR driver at 155 mph. That set the record but the truck can go faster with unlimited straights. The 0-60 for that model is actually 4.9, the 5.2 was the quad cab automatic.

Also that downforce helps offset the truck like weight distribution at speed. Short box, standard cab trucks are really snappy and oversteer naturally. If you look on most pickups, the front tire track is usually wider than the front 1/2" at times to help promote more understeer to help mitigate the oversteer. Though with over 500 lbft torque and a V10, even the Viper itself fails with 345 rear section tires vs those heavier 22" wheels and 305s to not be a Mustang in unexperienced hands.

Had my RC 2005 since 2011...drive it constantly plus wins awards at car shows....so best of both worlds. Recommend joining the Viper Truck Club of America for great info, tips and links to vendor parts. Mine is metallic silver with black racing stripes and customed side chrome pipes...needed new tires recently and replaced them with Michelin Defender LTX's...enjoy that ride.

My 2011 dodge ram first gear would end around 55 miles per hr as well 😂 i thought it was insane for just a reg pick up

@@DikeLover on my 11 and 18 ram both had 3.92 rear end only difference was transmission I have the zf on my 18 and I think it was a 6spd on my 11 huge difference between them both

Have u priced Calvo TT kits lately? Because even if u want to add their ‘base’ model 1300 whp kit it will run you about $65k . On top of that bone stock , 25-$30k truck? And thats without synchro trans. And that’s their cheapest ‘entry ‘ level kit…

If that truck only has 4K miles, it’s worth close to 70k, and you won’t touch it for under 60k. At 50k miles they still bring 30k.

I have a 2006 Ram 4x4 5.7L V8 Hemi with stock straight pipes and my pipes roar like thunder when I take off. I currently have 156,000 miles and it is due for an alignment and new tires since Winter is almost coming up. I'd love to have an '04 SRT-10 and use it for a car shows and other events also the MegaCab models have a 34 gallon gas tank. while the standard Rams have a 26.

2:25 Its an early 2000s Ram Truck. Dodge was about performance for cheap. If this existed today it would over $120k because of the un-needed appointments that ADD weight... as for the gear stick, thats true manual length for a truck. If you think that seems ancient, drive a early 90s 12v Cummins Diesel. NO sound deadening, and 5th was 3/4" away from you hands hitting the dash board and 2nd and fourth were in the bench seat.

If u can afford one of these trucks. Buy it their only going to increase in value. And im not a ‘mopar guy. Their trans. Used to be shit, and their plastic interiors are complete garbage. But this will be a collector truck.
