They're gonna stop making it I think this year will be the last. I could be off by a year, maybe next year will be the last. Once everyone gets their teeth into the EV cake, things will change somewhat. Most ppl that 'hate' the EV transition have never driven/ridden in one. They aren't the same, but they're really fun in their own way.

I just looked it up and ya' it was from last year, then I just found another article from 3 months ago that said they're gonna end the v8 in the mustang in 2028. So, they're gonna be around for a bit longer...just looks to be a bit up in the air as for how long. btw, it was an article repeated from 'truth about cars' from msn. UAW leaked the info about ford halting the v8 in the mustang by 2028

That’s all the “Charger” has ever been from 2006-2023; a RWD Intrepid. A “Real” Charger has two doors, first and foremost. They should’ve just continued calling the LX Dodge sedans “Intrepid”, hell even “Magnum” would’ve been fine, instead of sullying the Charger name on a 4-door grocery getter. Yes, we’re finally getting a real Charger in that a two-door car with that name is a reality. The Sixpack will be plenty popular, as over 60% of all Charger sales every single model year are V6 cars; the average consumer wants a cool looking car, but with an efficient powertrain… Outside of the enthusiast niche, people aren’t looking for huge horsepower numbers, nor do they want poor fuel economy, and that’s reflected in the sales- V6 Chargers and Challengers are the volume sellers by a huge margin, they’re the money-makers. If Dodge doesn’t price the things right out of reach of their core consumers like they have the last couple years with the outgoing models, they’ll sell a ton. Dodge very well could have had a hit with the EV crowd too, as the Charger Daytona is an aggressive looking EV- a standout really, in a field of jelly beans. However, by essentially not embracing the things that people purchase EV’s for in the first place, and coming up with this “apology machine” that is trying to fake the entire ICE experience is going to turn off ICE purists, AND also EV customers are going to stay away because who the hell wants a noisy EV, that artificially vibrates, and shifts?? The whole reason people buy EV’s over gas cars IS because they’re quiet, smooth, and DON’T shift at all; uninterrupted power delivery!!! “Here ya go, our new EV has none of the advantages of traditional EV’s, and mimics all the NVH of an ICE vehicle… BTW, all these noise makers and vibrators add 1000 lbs. to the curb weight.. Hope you like it!!” This shows that Stellantis doesn’t think very highly of Dodge customers. They really think that Dodge customers egos are so fragile that their EV offering has to have a vroom vroom noise maker, a fake transmission, and a fake engine vibrator… News flash- those people won’t buy ANY EV, so stop pandering to them. Seriously- the small number of enthusiasts that never buy another Dodge because the V8 is dead won’t matter in the grand scheme, just fucking embrace the EV, target the EV crowd with a GOOD EV, and price it right so it’s accessible by working people. Follow Tesla’s example- done deal. The Sixpack will do great with traditional buyers; especially those of us Mopar enthusiasts who’ve not bought anything from Dodge the last 5-10 years because they’ve not had any new vehicles on offer- just more special editions of the same old cars. Again- price is key!!!

Both cars will be banned from parking garages due to their extreme overweight. Parking garages, like all buildings, have a weight limit and they were built for cars that on average weigh 2-3,000 pounds each.
