just one thing i would suggest, the next time you do this on any car, when you take the the intake off take the time to put tape over the intake holes, its so easy to drop something down one hole and not know it until you start the engin.good video tho

Hey Randy - I have a 25 year old vehicle - and yeah- to anyone else looking on it makes no financial sense in someone else's eyes to pour money into a 25 YO car - but my point is, its my car and I enjoy driving it and especially enjoy it when everything works. I like the Viper BTW - and thx for sharing

tale some pictures as you are taking it apart so you can remember, I put dots on connections so you could remember what goes where different colored dots work best . Between the pictures and the dots it works well for me. I even put the sequence of the dots on papers so I could remember. Some times I had more jobs going at one time , it is a real bear when you come back from one job two days later to finish another job. Dots are better than my memory was. I have had take things apart and start over because of memory.

Just finished watching all your Viper videos. I think you did good for $39k. I've been watching Viper prices since 2016 every week and bought one Oct 2022 for $40k (01' RT/10 w/30k miles). Did pretty much all the same work you did except my rear diff had zero chunks in it and tires from 2006. Most likely yours is missing a few teeth they can be rebuilt. Some parts easy to find and others super expensive ex. Headlights. Prices for parts are also climbing higher and higher lately just spent $450 on a new center console and cant find a replacement for a bad AC discharge line that nobody has..... This was my dream car since I was in highschool and it's definitely the best sports car I've ever had. Hopefully ill have it for a really long time. Enjoy!

You should do like monkey wrench Mike Randy. Use a tripod. Set it in front of the car that way you're not holding the camera with one hand and tools in the other. I know I have mentioned this before but reorganize your garage and tools. Have a video of you going through your garage and ramble on about your cars....... LoL 🤣🤣👍 keep up the great videos.

Sold the wrong car :( The viper is rare and iconic, not to mention fun! The Monte Carlo on the other hand while 'Special' (in kinda a short bus kinda way for what that torque converter / sponsor did about it..) its no where NEAR as iconic.. Park in in a large parking lot.. Do the same with the Viper.. which one do you spot from three quarter miles away? Like the line in Jaws (serious paraphrase) "You yell barracuda, everybody says, "Huh? What?" Well, you yell VIPER.. every red blooded american's heart beat should go up, and they start looking and listening for it.. If you were going to take a loss.. I'd have abandoned the Monte in front of their offices in Brooksville, FL You could always have gotten it back after it was towed/impounded..
