That he was! I'm holding out hope that he can make it back by the end of August and ease our concerns, but it would be real nice if the team acquired a backup plan in the next couple weeks. Tom Verducci today said that a Tarik Skubal trade isn't out of the realm of possibility. He's as turnkey as there is out there... Detroit just wants a HAUL of prospects. But that potential of (let's say) Glasnow, Skubal, Yamamoto 1-2-3 in the postseason sounds real fun.

Randy, Skubal, JT (for the Kiké/Biggio upgrade) and cross your fingers that Max Muncy can come back! Piggybacking off my response to your other comment, an outfield of Randy/Mookie/Teoscar is suddenly dangerous. And I like that Mookie has at least played some CF before.

@@alldodgers Yeah, I can definetely see Pages as a playoff CFer but later on (after all him skipping AAA taxed a bit in his complete readiness). And indeed a Randy/Mookie/Teoscar looks sexy AF, although Mookie would move back to OF given the ring chance I agree is hard... quite an important deadline this one!

It's crazy how many questions have surfaced for this team as the season has gone on. I miss the first few weeks of "should Mookie be playing shortstop?" and that being the biggest problem! lol

For a little while, I tried to talk myself into Andy Pages as a playoff starting CFer -- and hey, maybe he can be one day -- I just don't think it's this year. It's hard knowing that the best way the team can improve the outfield this season is by moving Mookie back out to right (or maybe even center?).

A Teoscar Hernandez extension just makes SO much sense at this point. Lock him up before he goes off in October!

The Baez factor is interesting... we know the Tigers want a monster haul of prospects. I wonder how much that softens by taking Javy off their hands (DET pays down some salary, of course). Almost like the David Price part of the Mookie Betts trade. However, if they get Baez (in this hypothetical), they are stuck with him. 100%.

Jackson Ferris and Zyhir Hope for a 26 year old infielder without a position was an absolute haul by Friedman. My argument is, are those two kids anywhere close to helping this team right now? At best, Ferris is two years away and Hope is likely 3 or 4 (note: he hasn't played in an MiLB game since the end of April). Sorry you feel that way about the content. All I'm trying to do is offer honest and raw thoughts and analysis about a team struggling through injuries and a lot of question marks. I'm not trying to pitch catchphrases or say things that endear me to the organization. I'll also be bringing on more guests over the next few weeks for added voices and insight. My hope is to be a bridge channel to all the great Dodgers creators here on KZfaq. Still building and growing while doing it all on my own. Hopefully you stick around for it all!

Content fallen? what are you talking about?? when you criticize it's always good to either explain how or at least propose new things. Otherwise you seem to be trolling. 3. This is one of the few that really analyze things instead of only trying to be "funny" for fans or be liked by the FO or continiously repeat their takes just for likes and views
