According to MLBcom, the top hitters for the Dodgers, Ohtani and Freeman, had batting averages of .208 and .211 respectively over the past 7 days. This suggests that the probability of scoring in the first inning is quite low. Furthermore, the strikeout rate for the lower part of the lineup is high, particularly for Andy Pages at 40% and Enrique Hernández at 30%, indicating that the bottom of the lineup is struggling. Therefore, the players who should be hitting aren't, and those who are expected to struggle are indeed struggling, which contributes to the team's losses. Regarding pitching, the number of home runs allowed over the past 7 days has been high. While Yamamoto hasn't allowed home runs, he has given up many hits. However, I don't feel that the pitchers' performance overall has been poor based on the stats.
