Georgie Crocker-Smith it’s such a terrible situation to be in but honestly you will get over it. I had been friends with this girl for 10 years and it took me about 5/6 months to completely get over it. At the time it feels like it’s going to last forever but it honestly won’t. So glad that Dodie herself explained the change of feeling in old vs. new version of Human! ^_^ You know, what's funny is that Sting wrote the song Every Breath You Take about obsessive, sinister love (if you pay attention to the lyrics, you'll notice), but half the world still thinks that it's a wonderful, happy love song...😅

I completely adore this video. The live performance was the best I’ve ever heard her sing. You can tell how much Dodie’s voice has improved over the course of her career. Although every one of her songs are brilliant, her newer songs have a lot more body to them and you can tell that she’s feeling more present and less distanced by the sound of her voice. She has a lot more control over the pitch and the volume she’s singing at nowadays, flowing between each syllable and note more seamless than ever before. It’s not often we hear her singing completely live, this one was perfection.
