Add to that the angle of the cord compared to the big wheeled truck. Clutch wont pull the same either.

The nitro weighs more for sure but it’s not comparable since the truck is pretty you grade and has bigger wheels which is better

Different tire sizes, possibly different weight . It requires the same models with a different machine type to make a proper comparison.

Ricardo milos maybe, but the REAL thing here is 4wd. If that nitro had 4wd like a Losi 8ight or any other 4wd nitro, it would have won every time. You saw how it was forced into a wheelie almost every run

I think this has been settled by traction rather than power. The E car has double, maybe even triple the amount of contact to the surface and can hold contact longer because of the increased amount of travel on the dampers. Great fun though!

Nitro is a pain in the ass to learn but once you do, it's fantastic. more tunable, more visceral, between the smoke the feeling of reverberation you get in your chest as it wizz's by giving you that audible feedback clearly telling what the car is doing and, it can run indefinitely. And if you're a gearhead working on the engine is an entire hobby in itself. Batteries will always be a pain in the ass, charging batteries sucks, changing batteries sucks, more often then not too much bottom end and power, one pack is always different from the others, WAY more expensive and it's just boring in comparison (no noise, smoke, feeling). Batteries only positive is that they're great for beginners, short races and just messing around.

Right building motors is a lot of fun I have a 3.3 t maxx I love my truck it’s awesome basher. But it can’t keep up with my electric proline 2wd car . I can have 5200mah 2s lipo and beat the living poop out of proline 2wd and it will last me about 20 to 30mins at least. With a dual charger I can get two of these battery fully charge and have over hour of runtime. VS my T maxx I have to run it for awhile to warm up and then be able to bash then wait 15 mins to let the engine cool. Then adjust carbs. Then add fuel. Then pull start it then drive it. If it’s hot outside I have to wait longer for the motor to cool. With full tank get 10 mins of run times. Then carrying all the nitro crap is a pain.

Your wrong batterys have tons of potential in rc cars and are a millions times cheaper i strapped my 20v drill battery on a 4x4 monster and it can push and knock down metal trash barrels

Electric are much faster, more powerful, easier to work on, and don't require tuning every time you use them. My kraton would have taken that buggy 60kph in reverse on 2 wheels.

Nitro is by far more fun, however, electric is a great way to learn. I myself have a Traxxas Nitro Sport w/ 3.3, a Traxxas Jato 3.3, and a Kyosho Inferno (Nitro).

Electric go way faster than nitro...Am always go with the one that throws the most dirty n has the highest speed...That used to be the argument but not that gas can beat electric it's the dam noise....Electric has a better quiet sound at top speed

@@robot797 what bullshit is there to call? It's perfectly possible. 1/5th scales run on pump gas just mixed with 2 stroke oil... And losi used to make an 8ight t a while back that would also run on pump gas. Im lost as to why you call bullshit....

I love all rc cars. But electric 2wd rustlers are the best for taking to skateparks or any electric.

Yeah, that is one of the many reasons, why I no longer own a nitro car. It is a nightmare to start, and keep those engines running. With my electric cars, I just charge and plug the batteries, and press the throttle, it moves without issue.

Nope fun is having a loud gas car going through dunes ripping up dirt and mud and puddles with dirt on your face with a dirty big smiley grin on your face 🤣 on and the fun of getting it going during this lock down aswel can’t wait for my two gas rc baja 5b clones to get here gonna enjoy it with a big can of gas ⛽️

I have a nitro truck (HPI Bullet 3.0 MT). Way more fun than an electric truck because of the sound and the fact that the it has a pretty quick throttle response :D

Me, personally, like the nitro-powered better. at least, the electric doesn't need a break-in process, and a warm up befora start playing. High performance RC cars are just amazing, and i think the powering dosen't matter.

I have electric and nitro , oh yes nitro is more fun ! good noise and very powerful , electric is ready to run directly outbox but nitro .. is nitro ^^ mine is new a buggy grom MHD , the engine is a "Force 18" 3cc 2.25 HP capable to + 70 km/h but i have to modif it to take +/- 90 ^^ ,it's powerful i allways play fun ^^ Hello from Belgium :)

You need to mount it lower possibly from under so the front tires can stay more planted because the weight difference counts a lot here.

It's not good to run nitro when its "freezing" outside either. You will ruin that motor and no break in yeah it's done for..

Not true, cold weather is not going to ruin the engine, I have been running glow engines in freezing weather for decades and never hurt one. Although a proper break-in is definitely required. Since he was not reaming the piss out of it what he was doing probably did not hurt it other than it had less power than it should have if it had been broken in before the test.

I prefer electric any day! So much easier and cheaper to maintain. I have more than enough power with my 11.1V 5000mAh 3s lipo. Run it in my rustler vxl and it is insane the power and speed I get. Wish I got the 4x4 one though 😝

@@yusufabdo1730 nitro gives you the best autonomy and power per energy unit; I laugh at electric cars dying at 15 min (tops) of riding while nitro go on for like an hour and with a 15 sec refuel they're ready to roll but electric need 30+ minutes for recharging so it's a no go

creep pigy That’s bizarre, I checked on amazon it says , it can run on 2-3s But it comes with a 7.4v Lipo 3200mah 20c Battery No mention of Cells .! But as a rule of thumb 2 cells rated at 7.4v sounds rather ominous if you ask me

rest in pieces that clutch on the nitro. also favoring one or the other purely depends on the application. electric might be better at one thing, but nitro might be superior at another.
