Does Age matter for IMGs in the UK?

Age is not a major factor in the UK for international medical graduates (IMGs) seeking to pursue medical training or practice medicine. However, there may be other challenges that an older IMG may face while planning their career progression in the UK.

Short answer is that you can't rejoin once you resign from a training post. There is something called out of program pause which can be used for short term breaks, definitely not few years

You have to satisfy the requirements for UK medical school and have loads of money (at least 9000£/year, could be a lot more for international candidates). I didn't do medical school in UK so not aware of the exact process.

For someone with your experience,M.Med won't add anything. I would strongly recommend you to complete MRCOG and then come to the UK. You should be able to get job after fellowship but job situation are changing rapidly every year.
