@@TheBudgetDermatologist Religion is authoritarian, and authoritarians are controlling. Between men and women, men set the emotional tone/vibe socially, and women reciprocate what men present to them. The tone is mostly authoritarian. What is one thing authoritarian men want control over the most? Women. What is the exact opposite of a controlling attitude? Humility, honesty, respect, and non-violence. Having a controlling attitude is the ABSENCE of developing character towards women socially for purposes of mating and sex. So what is the purpose of religion? To appear Godly and spiritual socially WITHOUT developing character within. With authoritarianism, ALL MEN BLAME WOMEN for dishonesty socially. Kind of fucked up and manipulative, don’t you think? Considering men are physically bigger in frame, physically aggressive (violent), angry (authoritarian) all the time, and overall control the tone/vibe of how men and women interact socially. Why is almost all violence and machismo in some way or another affiliated religion? It’s not hard to see the truth: to get rid of religion socially worldwide is to also get rid of conformity, authoritarianism, and violence towards women. All war, ultimately, has to do with control over women by authoritarian (lying) men. God is love, and love is a collective consciousness filled with humility and honesty, and an absence of a violent, central authority. Only “alpha” males focus on religion. They are the most manipulative, materialistic, and conniving of men, as well as the most violent. Not all alphas are religious, but almost all religious men are alpha (authoritarian). Evolved men are too honest for religion or atheism. They focus on telepathy. The only way to focus on telepathy is to be honest and humble socially. Men focusing on the spiritual focus on spirituality NOW, which is telepathy. They do not wait to form spiritual personalities until after death (religion), and then play head games in the material with money, weight training, martial arts, and anger. This is honesty. No one can live in denial of the truth.

My dry, sensitive, 58 year old skin with mild rosacea not only tolerates but LOVES ACURE Radically Rejuvenating Bakuchiol Overnight Treatment. I've been using it for about a year and a half. I was not specifically looking for a retinol type skincare product. It just happens to be something my finicky skin accepted as a night cream. Over time I have learned that Shea Butter in facial products flares my rosacea like nothing else. The Acure cream is very soothing to my skin. It does have both Bakuchiol and Squalane in the ingredient deck but likely has much less than the products you shared. Thank you for this helpful video!

Hi and thank you for all of the wonderful advice with these products! I have purchased a few of the recommendations and have a question...My morning routine has been the Loreal Glycolic cleanser, the Avene RetinAL advanced correcting serum, and the LaRose Posay double repair moisterizer. I recently purchased the Timeless Vitamin C that you also recommend. Can I use both the serum and the vitamin C in my morning routine and if so, which one would I apply first? And thank you for making these informative videos! :)

I recently tried retinol for the first time (face serum and under eye serum). My skin LOVED it; my eyes, not so much. I already have chronic dry eyes, and the retinol made it a lot worse. When I said this to my dermatologist, she advised trying bakuchiol instead. Definitely intrigued by it!

Yes! I’ve had it with tretinoin. Since I became post menopausal my skin has become so sensitive and I’ve officially given up on it. I remember he’s about Bakuchiol 4 years ago. Tried it only for a month back then (nothing happened) and knew about acne fighting properties but was skeptical about its anti-aging effects. Decided to give it an honest (and longer) try this time, since I’m unable to use tretinoin and its derivatives. Glad to see more information is available.

I have been using the PC one with Bakuchiol very effectively. The one from the Inkey list irritated my skin, even though it was a lower percentage than the PC product. While PC is clearly higher priced, I use it about 4 x a week and one bottle lasts me about 4 months plus I always buy it when there is a 20% off sale, so it really isn't more costly per use than the Inkey list.

Great video! I use the inkey list bakuchiol but not as a moisturizer. I just use it exactly like I do as a serum over top of my other serums and then I finish off with my nighttime moisturizer. I do feel it has helped me with fine lines and hyperpigmentation but not as much acne. I only use it every other night but that's because I use Retin-A on the other nights. I highly recommend it for a budget option but also because I've had times where I've run out of the inkey list product and then like a month later I start to notice the fine lines and pigment coming back so I know it works for me at least. Retin-a has made a lot more difference, so if I had to choose I would pick retin a, however my skin is too irritated normally to use vitamin C or other acids anymore, but I just use bakuchiol and niacinamide instead.

I love that Paula’s Choice retinol + bakuchiol but it’s super super thick. I struggle applying 1-2 pumps to the entire face like the directions say. So I apply 2-3 pumps (I know that’s generous but there’s no way I could spread less product) and I mist some La Roche Posay spring water onto it and thin it out a little and then apply it to my face

Thank you for your valuable info on Bakuchiol, which I have been using for some years now, and indeed it works. My hyperpigmentation has diminished significantly, but I believe because I have been using other treatment serums together with Herbivore Bakuchiol (which you mentioned doesn’t have enough percentage of that ingredient to work effectively, perhaps those additional serums were actually doing a good job on my skin). I’m always getting compliments on how good my skin looks. Anyway, I’m going to try Avene since you mentioned has the right percentage of Bakuchiol, also the eye cream by Tula, since, again, herbivore’s eye cream did nothing for my puffy eyes, as my concern is mainly depuffing. Thanks again 💝

I have tried eliminating both of these for a few days and also tried different brands , the excema goes away then comes back. Its only in small patches so who knows whats going on. So maybe i should try bakuchiol. Thanks again for explaining so clearly.

I've just starting using the Paula's Choice about 3 weeks ago and up to now I've had no irritation, I've been using it 3 times a week so I'm going to up it to every other day now. My question is when i get to use it every day and I've been on it about 6 months to a year can i add in more Retinol or will i be getting a high percentage of Retinol because the bakuchiol and should i consider moving on to a low percentage of tretinoin. If i stayed on the Paula's Choice is that enough. Thank for doing this video it came at the right time for me and i trust you the most because your a professional

Thanks for the comment. I love that you are starting slow and increasing as tolerated. That is the best way to do it. Bakuchiol can pair well with retinol or tretinoin. I like to do Bakuchiol in AM and retinol/tretinoin at night. Also would start slow with that as well!

Hmmmmmm…. This didn’t seem to work for me for acne as well as old fashioned Retin-A. But, I’d try this as a combo with my Retin-A, or if I decide to have another kid. Also, I appreciate the recommendations because when I tried bakuchiol, it definitely wasn’t one of these.

Maren could you recommend an actual body lotion for dark brown spots all over my body. I got a hydroquinone from Curology just for the face but do you know of a budget friendly one that would work for the body?

Thank you very much for your video doctor. I would like to ask what kind of serum can I combine with inkeys list bakuchiol cream? Can I use a serum from The Ordinary brand?

This video is so timely for me. I recently purchased, but haven’t tried yet, the Sephora Collection Targeted Wrinkle Serum with 1% bakuchiol as an alternative to a retinol since I take 30 mg/week Accutane and I don’t think I can take retinols with Accutane. Is my thinking correct? I am 56 and very interested in the anti-aging properties from a more natural and gentler ingredient. I really appreciate your research into this ingredient. Love your content 😊🇨🇦.

Hi! Do you take Accutane because you still get acne at 56?
@sandysmith8377
@sandysmith8377 2 жыл бұрын
@@Alex-mx6mu I have taken it under the guidance of my doctor for a while now and this is the lowest dose that will manage my acne. I started at a much higher dose and when things were under control we lowered and lowered it to find the lowest does possible and still be effective.

I bought a bakuchiol serum and a face cream from FarmX, which is a “clean” brand Avon sells. I only bought it because I thought it wasn’t an actual Avon product, just one they sell….but I think I was wrong, so knowing Avon, it must not be a good one. It’s in an almond oil based and very, very moisturizing serum, and not horrible, but it was pricey.

Thanks for the video. Not everyone is convinced about bakuchiol but they do at least say it's fine as an antioxidant.

I’ve used the 1% Bakuchiol serum from BYBI Beauty. It’s just that ingredient and squalane. It’s not expensive and seems to brighten and smooth my skin. I’m going to buy another bottle today! Thanks for the great video Dr. Locke!

What do you think of Good Mokecules bakuchiol oil? It has 1% bakuchiol in it, with very good price. I can't use bakuchiol products with retinol in it since I already use retinol separately.
