Today my friends mocked me for my faith and even my girlfriend told me that my belief is wrong and often say very Heinous things about God as jokes then my own mother called me a self righteous Jesus freak because I told her I didn’t want her to drink until she was black out drunk. It does anger me but it also greatly worries me as It does seem everyone I love and care for have truly rejected Christ in every way. So getting this message today is definitely hopeful and I’m going to keep praying for them. God bless and thank you for these videos, they’ve been a great help in my journey of Spiritual growth towards Christ

I feel you pain and will pray for your son when I pray for my precious daughter. This video was very uplifting to be because it gave me hope for my daughter's eternal life. If she doesn't find her way, then I am grateful that I had a beautiful life with her during my time in my human form. My love for her may help her find her way even though I did little to build her faith when she was growing into a woman. Fill your hearts with love and prayer.

Thank you Father! Your speech encouraged me in a moment of loss of faith, much like that of Saint Thomas. I feel like all my hopes are taken away from me just because I can't time travel back to the time of the apostles and see Jesus with my own eyes. It's a terrible temptation that affects both my soul and my body, but I know I can't choose to suffer this way knowing what really makes me love my life: Christ. I ask anyone who reads this comment if you would pray for me that the Grace of God might descend upon me and fill me with unshakable faith. I pray God for all the Christians in my same condition, may the Lord gift you with joy and pure faith. Ps: please forgive me for eventual errors

Bless you father, you are my only link to the Christian faith, I must till the soil of my heart. I am still drawn by perversion, lust, and the things of this world. I want to put my old man to rest, and begin anew like the holiness of the resurrection but I find myself always lacking in will and full of fear. I do not wish to be alone on this earth yet my actions always lead me to isolation. I believe the devil keeps me locked in these patterns which I find false comfort. I hope in time God will grant me strength to face my fears and the demons within me.

This is a great message for us to share with those unbelievers. Christ knows his miracles surpass understanding and by their nature are unbelievable. Atheism is reasonable. Don't get angry with unbelievers, be compassionate. We are fools for Christ. Does this mean we are unreasonable? According to many yes, but Christian apologetics since the 1st Century in the Greco-Roman world has appealed to the mind as well as the heart. Ultimately, Christ converts hearts and minds and we are mere witnesses. By love for each other they will know us.

Thank you, Father..a very helpful and true teaching. So much to be grateful for. Thank you. I thought of the prayers of the mother of Blessed Augustine as you spoke. BUT, just now, i found myself wondering something. Of course i have no idea about this. Could be useless speculation. But, i found myself wondering if the parents of the future St. Mary of Egypt had prayed for her repentance in all the years that they had had no idea about what had happened to their daughter..? I find myself hoping that they did..

Yes, indeed, of course. I was speaking about her parents, but i did think of the Theotokos. Most assuredly i expect she had been watching her. SO MUCH of that story invites amazement.. We are not told by her what might have been going on in her heart. Another reason to always pray for the hearts of others to soften. As Father so truly speaks.. I believe there were people, living or departed, who must have been praying for me..

This feels very good to hear. I have been praying every day for over a year now and I would like to think of myself as a Christian. Yet, I constantly doubt and let my rational mind question God and the faith. It's like I need some tangible evidence to ''prove'' the Lord's existence, but when I am presented with it, I doubt it and think it might be a ''coincidence''. I want to believe and I want to live as good as possible, but the atheist voice of the modern world is too loud sometimes...
@asmrbynature30572 жыл бұрын
I was the same for 42 years. Universe size, mathematical rhythms in nature, the physical world. I have prayed with my heart and always prayed for those people I dislike first and never use prayer to expect physical abundance... I want to tell you a deep experience when my Great grandmother passed in 96'. At the time of her passing 3:15am, my household experienced the loudest unhuman ear piercing scream equivalent to what we thought was a airplane crashing in our living room. This scream was the most unhuman deathly thing I have heard with 2 other family members...my moms watch stopped at 3:15am ( time of death)....than we were confused, scared. Now- This is a very strong point of reassured faith for me...thank God!! Anytime a doubt comes up I reflect on a gift of faith received by whatever forces were active that day. You will find yourself appreciating the smallest things that you never cared about before especially in nature. God Bless you 🙏

Oh, forgot to mention, though you likely know it as well! I haven't read Shi'a texts well, but the Book of Occultation and the Kitab Al-Kafi ("Book of the Sufficient", or "Sufficiency") give a pretty good idea of their notion of "Mahdi" (literally anyone is Mahdi if they do the work), and the former contains some classics like the one about Mahdi asking Jesus to lead the Prayer, and Jesus says the Mahdi should as well

That's also in Jung's alchemical studies verbatim, states out-right that if Christ redeemed us it wasn't to make us into his mimicks, but that we would be free to realize ourselves as we were pre-destined to be, unique
@HipHopLived2 жыл бұрын
Occultation also has a great one that goes "Islam certainly began very strange, and will soon revert to being as strange as when it began. So, blessed are the strange ones.", in the mouth of Ali b Abi Taleb. The stuff about the Zulfiqar (Ali's double-edged sword, looted from a Satanic Temple - it's name means "Spine-Cleaver") is in the History of Tabari and the Book of Idols (likewise short), the context is in Sunan At-Tirmidhi - it's a gold and silver blade given to Ali by Muhammad

In summary: Jesus Christ didn't demand blind faith from his own mother whom he is Lord over. His love however cannot be fully received in someone who is proud, hard hearted and doubting. Like when she and her husband Joseph felt upset at him at age 11 for preaching in the temple without getting their approval first. However it is true that god is capable of doing anything. Which is why he warns us to not despise any little one - Who is little in comparison to god too.

Also Thomas was the one that said "Whither thou goest?" and was told "I am the Way the Life and the Truth", and the Apocrypha in the West at least make it clear he went to India! Actes of Thomas have him called "Judas Thomas" and sold as a slave for "three pounds of uncoined silver" to an Indian merchant by Jesus himself cuz he wouldn't go! "Krishna" wasn't used until the Year of our Lord, or at least after the Inscribing of the Heliodorus Pillar (where was the Bhagavan Cult, in a Greek Kingdom), as it said "Vasu-Deva" (or, "Avatar of Vishnu") Imagine Thomas going all "Christos! Christos!", well he told Jesus he didn't know Sanskirt, "How can a Hebrew teach the Indians?" (Apocryphal Acts, P. 226, open court publishing edition)
