I do completely agree with what you’re saying about the advantages of going into work and getting jobs as opposed to going to uni however on the flip side I do believe uni is an amazing place to socialise, have incredible experiences and make more life long friends. A lot of the time you’re right when you say people go into uni not really knowing what you want to do but I think it is a place that instead of rushing into a job allows you to think about the options out there. And whilst I get your point as to it being confusing how some jobs just require you have a degree and not care what the degree is for I think that is because a degree shows you can apply yourself, research and independently study far more than a levels do. I’m not trying to come across badly I just think your family is in a very privileged position where the financial aspect of uni isn’t as big a deterrent and perhaps then isn’t fair to impart such negative views on it to your children as uni is a place where you can just have fun instead of being so quick to rushing into a job and being forced to grow up. Again I don’t mean to be negative I just think that for many people uni truly is one of the best times of their lives and can be so fulfilling.

I went to uni not really knowing what I wanted to do, came out with a first class nursing degree. Those 3 years I learnt more about myself than I ever would of just getting a job. I learnt independence, socialisation and most importantly had an absolute ball when not doing work!😅

the problem with saying that woman sports doesnt draw a crowd and therefore shouldnt get payed as much, is that lots of womans athelets who do the same amount work dont get payed enough to make a living. Mens football attracts more athelets becuae there is more money in it. If you payed women more then more people would want to become a female athelte. Of course there is not as much money in it, but the only way for the sport to become more popular is to put the money in the sport. This is through both wages and putting money into young girls being able to do the sport and have good coaches and equipment.

tbf far joel the question about should male and female athletes be paid the same, if i was to answer that specific question i would of course say, strongly agree, they should if they are doing the same job. but its that male sports draws in more money (like you said) so that's why they don't, but they should. That was the actual question, i think everyone should be on strongly agree as all people male or female, if you are doing the same job should be paid the same. its just unfortunate in sport, male sports juts draws in more money so that doesn't happen,, at present. Also, the hype isn't there simply because they are women,,, a lot of this is to do with sexism.. but that's a whole other topic of conversation! But again, hopefully one day that will change...but people need to change.

Those are such good questions and each answers are very nice to hear. The work and school true! Content Creators/ Influencers work just as hard but at the same time it’s always a good thing to have back up. But, women aren’t treated the same in the workplace. I think school and work also depends on family dynamic and in different countries. I don’t think lazier it has got a lot easier for the younger generation! But it’s also how the family is, where you are from and time management. I think 2020 really changed a lot of people.
