Tahoes and Suburbans also came with rubber floors for municipalities, you might be able to order those too. don't forget about keeping all your vent tubes above water. Don't sell it. You have to wheel it!! :)

Please make sure you brush the carpet. I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, and I haven't started the video yet, but if you don't it will get crusty and hard. Just looking out!

I have painted many vehicles carpets with spray paint. Once it dries good there isn’t any smell it speak of. I did this on vehicles that needed a touch up from road salt damage. But sense the carpet is nylon paint or the so called dye doesn’t stick very good so it’s a quick cosmetic fix. If you buy some cheap floor matts you will see even less of it. Another thing I recommend is taking a grub brush and go over the carpet to fluff up the carpet fibers this give more fibers to stand up to absorb the paint. Just keep the doors open for a days with a nice wind to get it really good and dry. The paint Oder is from the paint still being some what wet as it dries the thinner releases flumes until it dries. Way to go SendIt

Go to Lowe's and pick up some Tide 10X. Give it a good heavy spray an brush it down before rinsing out.

I love these types of videos. You are doing s**t average people can do. I have an 2003 f150 supercrew which I love and neighbors think I’m crazy putting time in on a 17 year old truck. I just wish I had the knowledge of putting a rough country lift on myself. I like doing this type of stuff. Cool channel Steve.

Thank you for removing the carpet. Last video I saw it was growing green stuff. You should flex seal it. Ive seen it done in a jeep and it worked great.

If you leave the tan trim pieces like On the seat, it will make everything look a lot cleaner looking and actually make the carpet look “cleaner”

You can put your wires in conduit and then rhino line the floor

I can't believe how well that carpet turned out. I think you should just freshen up the seat bottoms & they would go great with it.

Fabric spray paint stays soft and ply able. Where as Metal spray paint cures hard due to enamel. So the passenger side (used with regular spray paint) will hold the water on top of the carpet more than drivers side. And I like it actually, never thought it would/could look good. I’m now a believer🤓

To be honest I'm glad your buddy used normal spray paint on the passengers side because I always wonder if the normal spray paint would last as long as the fabric paint. And yea I still like to see the bruce take on the island test I say he should make it without any problems and besides I just like seeing videos of him out playing in the mud LOL

Raptor Liner has colors you can mix in and make the lining the color you want.

Buy some cheap floor mats because that's the spots that will wear the paint off the quickest. Or go all and get some black weather techs
