3 years ago we had an emergency leak of the moderating water pipe for a nuclear plant and we were able to apply flex seal,and stop the leak immediately. So we never had to SCRAM the reactor. NRC inspector was impressed.

I bought a used 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse Fabric Convertible. I bought it for real cheap because the convertible top was leaking when it rains. Upholstery and auto shops was trying to charger me thousands to replace or fix it. But I decided to go to Home Depot and bought flex seal and some paint rollers and I painted a thin layer of flex seal on the whole fabric convertible. I tested it out 2 days later by going through a car wash and I had no leaks! And the convertible was still flexible to have it go up and down. I spent like $40. And the convertible top looked brand new. If anyone got a leaking fabric convertible top, I recommend using flex seal!

I've used the flex tape on a hole on a car port tarp and it held for years until the tarp eventually wore out put the tape remained

I used flex paint to seal my basement wall and it perfectly worked. Only problem is that a year later moisture started creeping out from the paint which is coming from the wall and it grew mold which i had to spray with anti mold chemical. I hope flex seal can make a product that is anti moisture soon.

I like how inside edition is always extra af lol. Get a team and professor from an engineering school just to slab flex seal on chicken wire, then get a “master carpenter” to slice a barrel in half and slice a hole in it lol.

Now one bit was overlooked here...the finished price of the wire mesh boat covered in the most expensive paste Home Depot sells...I am guessing that boat ran them around $2-3 thousand dollars if they paid full price. One could easily have purchased a completed equally sized boat for that price...but not even close to as much fun!

To Phil Swift and everyone - I live in a multilevel home and for years I've had troubles with my bathtub leaking when you took a shower. I seen the flex-seal commercial and decided to try it on my bathtub as a seal around it and the wall covering. I am here to tell you for over 3 years it's been on there and not one leak! This stuff works!

I had less than a pea sized hole to plug and this worked for about 5 seconds even after multiple coats. it will most likely work on a non active leak, when left to dry before adding water. They should've left the camera rolling a little longer on that barrel🤔

used on my swing pool above grounds & it really work.

I waterproofed a not waterproof electric scooter with flex tape and flex seal (used seal where I couldn’t get the tape like small areas), and I have ridden the escooter through heavy rain storms, just about every deep puddle I could find, and even washed it with a hose, and the escooter still works perfectly. The stuff works, rarely do “as seen on tv” products work, but this stuff really does.

Phil Swift is one of the best guys on the internet, glad to see Inside Edition make videos like these. They really do put in a lot of effort for less than 3 minutes of outstanding content.

I'm amazed with that stuff I used it on my 26 foot above ground pool it had a little hole inside from a thorn been good for about 3 years now

It does work. Used to work for a contractor who own fedex route. That truck use to leak on the driver and people packages. The own didnt want to fix it so i did it my self with flex tape and paste. Didn't leak on me or the boxes.

This makes me want to go and buy it and I don’t even know what I’d need it for 😂

I used Flex-Seal to seal up some holes and cracks in the roof of my work truck. Rain kept getting in and leaking all over my dash and knees. After a day of letting it dry and settle it sealed those holes right up. That stuff is amazing. 🤯🤯🤯
