Real God is not a person but a power like electricity gravity and magnetism. The universe runs based on cause and effect principle. What goes around comes around in nature. We get good results if our actions are good and bad results if our actions are bad in this birth only. God is the embodiment of all physical and natural laws operating in the universe. Spinoza and Einstein believed in this kind of God. God's love is available through His laws only. Gautam Buddha said we do not need God because our pains and pleasures depend on our actions. God is neither kind or unkind. He operates the universe as per the laws prevalent. He does not ask us to do good or bad. It's all our choice. His duty is to execute the laws which are universal. He neither punishes nor rewards us but our actions do that thing. If we acquire wisdom and follow ethics, we do not need any God, that is what The Buddha taught the world. He advised us not to believe in concepts but to find the truth experientially. Buddhism and Jainism do not believe in Creator God or Brahma. The Buddha did not approve the authority of Vedas. He condemned sacrifices and said rituals cannot wash away one's sin. Krishna told Arjuna and other Pandavas that every achievement is the result of human effort and nature's role.
