I've struggled with this for a long time now and have finally come to accept the fact that you cannot be a blessing to others and not be blessed yourself. You can only give what you have.

Yes he dose my 4 year old Ness was born blind she had to go to bc children's and when the doctor looked at here eyes he said is ur eye doctor crazy she's fine and my sister said no but before we left my church prayed for her in the air port and the doctor looked at my sister and said, "I did not believe in maericals till today."

This video responds very well to Timothy Keller's recent book (entitled Prayer) which makes the point that the purpose of our prayers is to know God more and take us closer to Him, rather than to change our circumstances. It is the way we look at our circumstances through knowing God more that should really be the focus. This is a fantastic video, Jon! :)

Hi Jon, I am a recent follower of yours, I followed you in 2016, in what had to be the roughest year of my life, and your videos really helped. I was just desperate for a channel in KZfaq, one I could find that satiate my need to be closer to God, and to know Him more, and I prayed and your channel was just one of the many blessings that arrived as a form of response. I am just uite happy that today, I saw this video and you mentioned the storm in the Philippines- I am actually a survivor of that typhoon- typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda. I live in Tacloban. It's just monumental to me how you do all these things, and I hope you never stop and I hope you reach more people. Right now I am very down because my mom has evidence my dad is cheating on her, It's really hard to cope, but I know we can get past this, God is always in the midst and He will go beyond. Its hard for people to believe at first that God would come through because they been so let down and broken inside and fighting for their life that its been hard to trust and believe. I know from Experience. I never had a true friend or someone who can be true to me completely. But right now I am studying at new life bible college. But I am growing every day.
