I mention a few reasons in my postgame thoughts. It gets more hate than it probably deserves. But compared to most ballparks it doesn’t meet the standard of many fans. The White Sox are looking at a new stadium already as you probably know, that tells most of the story unfortunately.

As a life long South side Chicagoian who is not a Sox fan( Las Oaklamento A's baby) . I have enjoyed a ton of games at what I still call the Cell when I was younger I thought it was fine as I get older and pain from aging and just not being in the best health sets in it really isn't convenient for all people. Ramps galore even for 100 level seats I went to Comerica park a couple years ago and that was a great stadium it was just walk in and find your seats. Hell my body was in less pain after seeing Sox at Tigers than any Sox home game and I walked a few blocks there and a few blocks back to and from the hotel. It was supposed to be the future of stadiums in 1990 but by 1993ish it was already outdated when the Arlington and Camden yards changed the way stadiums are built. Hey if you love the stadium great I had great memories and well make more in years to come so it meant a lot being a baseball fan It's just games are a bit difficult now because of my health so I go less. Still appreciate all my memories there.

I appreciate the comment! as much as the ratings are vastly different, stadiums are all so similar nowadays you really have to nitpick the small things. so much of what makes wrigley great is the rich history which give alot of its downfalls a "free pass". GRF has its positives for sure but definitely some negatives as well. I had a blast in Chicago and will definitely be back, probably not for baseball but who knows!

Interesting. This game had really tight security enforcing the rule and I saw several people get turned away. I guess it all depends on the employee you run into. Also, I believe I mentioned the red line in both videos, if not you're correct, very convenient for both ballparks!

@@garrettstadiumtravel I think they do this based on attendance, I went to a dead game this season and the 500 level wasn't even open at all! The next game was also dead, there was no one stopping us from going to the 100 level with our 500 level tickets

There seems to be mixed reviews! Definitely has some pros and cons!

I went to Coors in 2018, and I had plans to go this season, but it just didn't come to fruition. I'll definitely be back hopefully soon!

Thanks for the feedback! I was very disappointed about the 500 level rule hindering fans from exploring the ballpark and history in the outfield, upper level seats alone are just fine! This was an afternoon game so my friends and I opted for a light snack as opposed to the other heavier food options, will definitely explore more if I make it back!

Some years ago at this ballpark, I had box seat tickets 20 something rows behind home plate. I thought what the hell, a once every 10 years kind of thing.

There are some redeeming qualities for sure! overall just a basic stadium in a bad area is enough for the bad review for most people

I understand it from that standpoint, I guess just making it more clear that you CAN'T access the other parts of the park before you get there would be nice.

as long as you're civil and respectful you should be fine, nothing more than a few verbal jabs about the mariners. There are definitely more hostile environments! Hope you enjoy it!

"Jumped outside the stadium" is a reputation given by people who have never been to that ballpark. No, you wont get jumped before, during or after the baseball game. 🙄

No need to be sorry! Part of me agrees with you, but part of the problem is how empty the ballpark is on most days. I hate when people take advantage of the open lower section but I don’t think it’s right to completely close off an entire section of a ballpark because of it, stricter ticket and section security should happen first, it should also be advertised when buying tickets. Additionally, I can only go into so much detail about why I score each stadium the way that I do because I don’t want a 2 hour video 😅. Never been I assumed a stadium with 500 level seating would have 400 level seating lol but my point is upper deck ppl stealing seats from the 100 level is moot if there's ushers checking tickets at the top of the aisles.
