Outside of jovial banter exaggerated bravado, and good natured trash talk, I don't think I've ever seen anyone indecent or disrespectful on this channel. Hikaru commands respect because he wins... a lot. He does seem like a super nice guy though.

Man I’m just getting into this “chess thing” ;) but even I can tell this crossover is literally gonna be revolutionary for the game! What a dope move by this GM Hikaru to get down and play all these cool characters. And mix it up with everything from a little trash talk to giving them a fair handicap and pointers after a win. And the one out of a billion moves when he actually makes a mistake... he just takes it with a rye smile like a straight G. Can’t get enough of these games. Well played in every aspect Mr. Hikaru!

@Ronald Simanjuntak more like 1600 + 1800 + 1400 + 1700 = 1625 rated. The plans fall apart when bureaucracy is involved. "The world versus kasparov", a game played in 1999 where kasparov beat 50,000 chess players collaborating to play black, proved that. I have played hand and brain and it trashes my game and wastes half of my tempos. It makes sense to me.

Can someone explain to me why at 1:22 white couldnt go bishop f4 the black has to take then knight d6 and the whites up a piece

If white bishop takes f4, black will recapture with the queen which is also a check. So, white has to respond to the check first and then black will save his d6 bishop.
