that only works properly you don't have an arm. If you have an arm you can create a weird angle for the left and right monitors. Depending on the space behind the desk it could be impossible. This made me wish there as a way to slide your monitors to the left and right on the arms. then this would work so much better.

They have no bezels because the edges curve backwards so they can hide the bezel at the back. Putting curved edges together could be just as annoying as a small bezel.

You guys needes to play with the space in between the monitors in addition to the bezel correction on the computer. The obvious reasons you are losing things at the transition is because it is designed for wider bezel monitors than the ones you used. Add space to simulate a larger bezel and redo the correction on the computer.

About a decade ago I invested completely into triple monitor gaming. I bought three 3D monitors with TN Panels. At the time, VR wasn't a think, 1080p was a pipe dream for consoles, and high refresh rates and good color were mutually exclusive. I would have jumped at the opportunity to purchase this kit back then. Though this was peak gaming immersion at the time, the bezels were massive and nearly drove me to debezel/hardmod my screens. These days, not so much. I still use those same monitors. Haven't upgraded except for the dumpster dive Dell screen I rescued that has the best color of all of my displays. At $110, if I am going to upgrade my gaming experience (which isn't likely these days), I would probably just spend more money and move towards a single ultrawide display, though VR is a close second. Surround/Eyefinity have both caused display issues when not gaming and switching back and forth between triple-monitor modes was a pain, to say nothing of bezel correction issues. With an ultrawide, especially the 32:9 screens now available, and with VR now being affordable thanks to the Oculus Quest/Link, a triple monitor solution with prisms attached is simple too clunky to be practical and worth the asking price. If pressed, I may be convinced $50 is a fair price and I had some money to spare.

Multiple screens are great for productivity, and that's where it really changed my life. One screen for youtube videos or streams, another screen for whatever I'm working on at the moment, and another screen for file management to help me with whatever I'm working on at the moment. Niche workflows can benefit from multiple screens a lot as well. Streaming requires 2 screens, 3 or 4 screens is ideal. I have 4, and I sometimes find myself needing more real estate XD

The other two monitors have been un-used for years because of the desk footprint they take up. After finding out about this product I feel like I'm the niche case they build this for. I don't want to sell 3 monitors and purchase a curved display so it makes sense for my situation. Hud maps can be adjusted in most games so less of an issue. The biggest issue is the price. This should be 29.99-49.99. Ideally $19.99 on sale

Regarding the OSD, there is a protocol called DDC/CI that allows a computer to control monitor settings over HDMI or Displayport. There are some programs for Windows that implement the full functionality, but if you just want to control brightness, there's an app called Monitorian that allows you to control it from the taskbar.

As the owner of compatible ASUS monitors, a couple of the issues would definitely be alleviated by using ASUS monitors. The monitors I have are definitely a lot thicker than these thin monitors, and a big deal is when he mentioned that a couple small bezels might be better, ASUS monitors have much thicker side bezels than these monitors.

The solution, save up for a 32:9 or 32:10 (my preference) monitor 0 bezels and much more immersive, sure it's expensive but I can clearly don't see my self using dual monitors set up, just 32:10 at 1440p or greater. Yeah, it's a weirds aspect ratio and most games cut off up and bottom of the game but some game does support it, and it's just epic. I mainly play center at 1080p/1440p while having Discord and something else on the side, mostly game builds to follow along. Also amazing for streaming games onto twitch or youtube, or whatever platform you prefer.

After years of using 4 monitors for productivity I personally found non-uniformity more enjoyable, like combining different wallpapers and arranging applications on specific monitors. Bezels are not something drawing my attention. But I can see the appeal of this tech for the racing games

It's still a valid criticism. Offering a wider range of clamp motion would not be difficult, & would add a lot more value to an already expensive product.

Id like to see a bezel-less monitors (at least the sides), front of the panel would align and whatever support the panel needs would be towards the back (side of the monitor would be angled). Would be easier to design than the curved ultrawide monitors and you wouldnt need to invest much in manufacturing equipment. I know it wont happen but its nice to dream.

If you have thin bezels and need to increase it, you can increase the "bezel" width by placing the monitors a little bit with an open gap between them (Bezel, Gap, Bezel).

I think that if there was a middle monitor sold with these built in, they could be smaller yet still accomplish the same thing. Or a sort of modular kit that you can buy and the monitors click together somehow so they are perfectly aligned, and you dont need such a big "refractor"

These are seemingly for the dedicated sim rig or gaming rig. Obviously not ideal for the family PC, or general gamer. But my use case demands that I at least give it a shot. My setup is a dedicated aluminum profile Sim racing rig with a separate aluminum profile triple monitor stand. As for myself.. I can't see myself NOT picking up one of these kits. Thanks for the review guys..

I’ve been an advocate for triple screen gaming since back before eyefinity and Matrox cards(which were horrible) but I am glad we are finally getting some love... even though that solution is quite expensive for what it is. When it comes to bezels and a lot of people saying they never went with triple screen.... the mind gets rid of the bezels over time. Just like the A Pllars in your car; since your focusing on what’s coming through the windows your focus is there and the pillars don’t bother you as more time comes along. I had some skeptical friends over the years and I would have them try it and within a small amount of time it wouldn’t really matter since they’re focus is what’s on screen. Naturally it helps with overlap when bezels are larger but choosing the right screens with narrow bezels it goes away to the mind’s eye really quickly. But overall having that much real estate to look at has its benefits like in WOW am calling raids cause you can see everything to FPS games where you can see enemies coming from the side so much quicker. It def has its advantages. As we get more games with integrated FOV sliders we can adjust the smearing effect that some complain about in a few games where it can be pretty nasty to look at... but overall the benefits outweigh the negatives. Quite a few friends have converted over the years to well known and coveted setups like the Dell 20/30/20 and even taking the large curved 34” screens and going vertical, which is actually pretty neat not just staring at the boss’s feet in games like WOW.

Great review! A part 2 test with a compatible 3 monitor setup would be enjoyable. That way we can really compare how well the product works all around. That's understandable why it wouldn't fit right or allign perfectly with non Asus gear. It's like trying to plug in ur galaxy note to ur iPhone dock... It's possible! But their will be issues

I tried using the diffusors from a broken TV to do this, and it actually worked to a certain degree when the diffusion material was bent into a triangle shape. It wasn't quite as good as what those do, but it's not far off and it's free, so...

I actually run 2 identical Asus 24" 3D monitors (VG23AH) for daily use and usually they're plenty of desktop workspace for me. But, on occasion I sandwich another non-matched Asus 24" monitor (VH236H) between the pair to play dirt 4, Forza 4 and some other racing sims. So, I'm a pretty ideal candidate for this product but there is no way I would pay $110 for this. Like, hell no. I've actually been thinking about upgrading to something like a 39" curved ultrawide and this product hasn't curbed my desire. I would probably buy it on ebay for around $30 bucks but that's it. I'm not J but that's my 2 cents.

Re-make these at half the width and use a 2-way adhesive to attach the top and bottom to the monitor frame so you don't need those pointless/expensive clips and sell it at 20 bucks a pop. Then this would be a good product

Did you try separating the monitors from each other by a couple millimeters to eliminate the distortion/cropping effect? Your bezels may be thinner than what the plastic strips were designed for.

I feel like the visual annoyances of bezels is still better than the visual annoyance of two big pieces of plastic between the monitors. Might just be me but it looks like an eye sore more so than the thin bezels that most new monitors have.

Just going to point this out: your bezels were too thin to have the monitors butted right up to one another. space them apart slightly to properly match the bezels.

I have three 27" monitors. I really wish I could justify the cost for what is really a simple and elegant solution to hiding the bezels... just like I wish I could have justified the cost of a curved ultrawide high refresh rate monitor when I decided to go 3-wide. I'll put that $100 into saving towards some better flight controls.
