Hello Beautiful People!
I previously tried out the new TGIN Rose Water Styling Gel with just the TGIN Rose Water Smoothing Leave In and has amazing Day 1 hair. But after Day 1, my hair was dryer than the Sahara Desert. I decided to give this gel a second chance and it pair it with some moisturizing creams so that I can get definition and moisture!

Yaaay! You tried it again! I have fine 4a curls, so I think the definition will probably last the week for me. I was waiting for this to make a decision on this gel. I don't have the creams you used, but I will try it with my coco creme from Carol's Daughter or my Knot Today leave in. I can now buy another product I don't need. Fingers crossed I don't get any flaking. I just love your results so much. Thanks again for trying this gel again.

Lol the honest answer is that I’m lazy. I just like to do my hair once a week and then I’m done. And my hair usually does not dry out until the end of the week when I’m about to was anyways. If my hair is dry on day 2 or 3 then I will moisturize, but that’s it. Thanks for watching 💕

The melanin side looked better wet. Even though they both looked good dry, I think the other side dried a little nicer. Nice volume with clean definition.

Your hair came out great! I think the QB side has a bit more volume and frizz but the difference was barely noticeable.

Thank you Khrys! Yes it did a have a little fizz but nothing crazy. And to be honest I think that side of my hair is always more voluminous lol. Idk if it’s because I have more hair on that side or what lol. Thanks for watching 💕

Your hair was definitely bomb it looked moisturized and shiny with using the creams 😉 Do you pre poo? Sometimes or every wash day? Just asking because your hair always seems like it’s nice and detangled before styling and I want to start incorporating pre pooing and trying to only finger detangle

Thank you love! And yes I do prepoo before I shampoo or do my diy clay wash. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my hair. I use to do it all the time then stop because it was making my wash days longer. But now that I’ve gone back to it, my hair loves it and it great for finger detangling 😊

sugar girl yes, I ordered them on april 18th when they were part of the 40% off sale. So half way through them in a 30 day period is pretty good. I use the leavin and the gel the most. So I need to stalk up. I own every product they have from all 3 lines. Except for the Repairx leavin, because it always out of stock and i can't get my hands on it. The rose line is by far my favorite.

So maybe you are making your sections a little too thick. Have you tried it in smaller sections? I’ll be honest, I still get the dent sometimes but when I shake out and fluff out my hair, it goes away.

Your results look fab although the Melanin side did have slightly more definition. If you are interested, I have a barely used jar of Melanin I would love to donate to your stash. I think my hair prefers creams over butters. Nothing against the product.
