Is this a safe procedure I'm not a fan of surgeries mostly I get nervous when it comes to this stuff

I am a BM donor 25 years post transplant. The pain for me was minimal. I consider getting that call the highest honor of my life.

I've been in the database for well over 10 years and all my contact info is updated. Is it normal that I haven't been a match yet? Regardless, if I get the call one day, I'll be ready.

Does bone marrow correlate with blood type? I have the universal blood type. Can I donate marrow to anybody?
