He was asked the question in an interview, his dad was the first one that brought it up saying he’ll retire around 30 because he’s been competing in combat sports for so long. Then the questions were thrown at khabib and he confirms those things. He’ll retire at 30-0 or if I’m those next two fights he loses I see him bouncing. Beating Ferguson cements his legacy as one of the GOATS and that’s probably all he wants now.

It does to me. The first UFC fight I ever cared about and sat down and watched was him vs RDA and my friends were RDA fans and told me “this Russian is about to get mauled” but after that didn’t happen I was hooked, fan for life. I’ve since watched every UFC, even the ones with no Khabib, went to 207 live to see Amanda ko Ronda and other live shows locally. Khabib started it all for me and to see him as the true ultimate fighters is so badass.

Sorry to bring bad news but Khabib isnt as dominant as the MMA community protrait him...
@m-agirouard33294 жыл бұрын
All of Khabibs opponents were known to lose to wrestlers. Everyone he has been matched against, is either a former/future Featherweight or has lost to every wrestler theyve faced before Khabib, exceptions to Ferguson and Iaquinta...and Khabib struggled against Iaquinta...the guy who ol' Cowboy destroyed...If you havent realized it by now, the UFC saw great star potentiel in the russian muslim that Nurmagomedov is...Its crazy how nobody realizes it lol. Also, Khabibs takedown game is overrated and predictable, always going for the same sloppy single leg from afar...And his overconfident clumsy striking only works because his opponents are focused on stopping takedowns...Iaquinta was basically letting him jab his face looking for a big counter...He barely won vs a decent fighter...thats your GOAT? Khabib has been gifted easy matchups every time he fights and that he is extremely one dimensional is my point and that he isnt the great fighter that most of the MMA community seems to portrait. It seems to me that the majority of Khabibs fan base is even newer to the MMA world than Conors fan base...probably because they all follow him based purely on geographic and religious reasons...or in your case, are just casual fans. If you were able to inform yourself and most importantly be neutral, you'd understand what Im talking about. Also, I recommend you do some actual unbiased research on Dagestan....I know its hard to grasp but Im sure you can manage if you actually try. Khabib walks around at 205-210. His camp says he walks around at 185-190, which is obviously a blatant lie, meaning they have something to hide. They don't want everyone to realize how much Khabib is bigger than his opponents. I analyzed everyone Khabib has ever faced. In the UFC, all of his matchups were against fighters known to always lose to wrestlers and future/former featherweights. Not most of them, all of them. Exception to Iaquinta and Tony, Iaquinta being decent skilled grappler that likes to brawl with a low aggressive stance and on 1 day notice, of course Khabib was going to win, he does have elite wrestling, submissions and grappling overall hes one of the best to ever do it yet he still struggled against a middle of the pack fighter...someone who Cowboy destroyed...someone who Tony would eat for breakfast...Yes he's most likely the best overall grappler in the game but he is extremely one dimensional. Yes he has great and smooth technique but its mostly working everytime because of his power. If he was competing against fighters of his size in the WW divsion like Usman or Covington or Woodley, he would most likely lose. That isnt my point though, my point is that he has been given extremely favorable matchups all the way through his career. You might say yeah but he just destroyed Poirier, while Poirier deserved his title shot, he still falls in the category of a former featherweight, dont get me wrong, Poirier is a legit LW now, its that Khabib is that much bigger, on top of being the superior grappler, he has size and power...Poirier was doomed before the fight started. Before the ESPN deal, the UFC was desperately looking for stars to headline PPVs as they just sold the company for 4B$ and needed to make money, thats why they were so carelessly obvious about building up Khabib the muslim-russian with easy matchups. Khabib is basically owned by the Dagestan's dictator, he has been chosen to be a star a long time ago...the dictator most likely thought Dagestan needed an icon like Khabib so that his population gets happier and wont question his actions. Do some unbiased research before you talk shit about what you dont know.

Why? Like you said, sincerity! It’s the character and code by which they do clearly live by. They are all 3 men of principles of which they are true to regardless of circumstance. They are simply impressive human beings and an inspiration for how they live, not exclusively how they fight though who they are as people directly translates into how they fight. Inspiring athletes, inspiring people. The level of respect for these three is hard to even express. Maybe it’s because even their fighting career and whether they win or lose or what have you comes second to their principles. These three men won’t sacrifice their current set of principles for anything at all. That includes money and success in the octagon. ✊🏼🥊🥋 Nick Diaz Army Khabib Time 💯🔥🔥💯

If he fights and beats Tony Ferguson, then he will be known as the Greatest of all time.

Bruh. Khabib was 15-0 and still fighting guy with 0-0 record. Yes you heard that right. looong way to go before you can call him a goat

If he even wants to be considered as one of the GOATS, he definitely needs to fight TFERG and beat him. And there, the problem starts :=)

@@therealyassassin abel tujilo. He was a D1 all American champion and khabib threw him around so much that it's a n mma record for most takedowns in a fight

Yes, he should retire undefeated as Rocky Marciano did. Ronda Rousey was very dumb not to retire when she was undefeated.

Love Chael but "I don't believe in free time" while holding a Starbucks cup is hilarious.

I offer you this Chael. Should Ben askren have stayed in the game? Was his career tainted by one flying knee? Maybe

If he retires without fighting Kevin Lee, is he really undefeated?

100% yes 🤣

The best part of this is that Chael keeps throwing that Starbucks cup from his left hand to his right hand and back again, but the speed is beyond mortal recognition....look at his right hand closely.... you can see hints of it throwing the cup back...👍🏻😉👍🏻

There is a couple of things you finally got right is that Khabib is sincere and authentic. Absolutely no doubt

Damn I wish Chael was still fighting. We didnt know how good we had it watchin a guy like him put on a complete show from weigh ins to press conferences and damn sure the fights themselves. He gave 110% all the time. In all aspects. Truly what MMA is MISSING today.
