I always thought paper beats rock because if enough paper wrap the rock the rock would be unable to break out of it.

I think "Paper" was originally rolled up sticks of "Dynamite", and was changed because of the lude way you have to insert the dynomite into the rock. Scissors beat dynomite, by cutting the fuse.

I think rock scissors dynamite always made more sense. Rock breats scissors, scissors cuts dynamite fuse, dynamite blows up rock.

Dynamite make more sense to me too and you can use only one finger to show a dynamite stick, which would make the game more fun in some cases... Yeah.

You could take reinforced paper (still species and genus paper), like 135g glossy or similar that contains stabilizers. One sheet, with enough RPM should cut soft stone.

The winning mantras are: Rock breaks Scissors, Scissors cut Paper, and Paper covers Rock. There's no destructive aspect to paper winning.

TheWham083 agreed but the standards are so uneven that way too... like scissors has to destroy its opponent, rock has to destroy its opponent, but paper, oh paper just gets to lay on them. By that standard paper could also beat scissors, as it could cover them too

It's not that paper alone beats rock but it is that trees from which that paper is made, is made mostly of water vacuoles that when freezing into ice expands and cracks rocks.

The game should really be "rock pen Excalibur." The pen is mightier than the sword, so pen beats Excalibur. Excalibur was pulled out of a rock, so Excalibur beats rock. And you use rocks to smash old pens, so rock beats pen.
