The head of the British Army, General Sir Patrick Sanders, has cautioned that the British public might be summoned to participate in the event of a war with Russia, given that the military is "too small". He emphasised the importance for the government to be ready to "mobilise" citizens if NATO go to war with Russia.
Recently, Ex-Prime Minister Boris Johnson wrote a column supporting conscription and advocating for young people to join up and fight, saying that he "jolly well would".
